But if you made any modifications to lua files, they will all be reverted when you apply the update, so make sure you have backed up any changes you might want to keep! Same goes for missing wingtip high g vapor trails? For the first time our 64bit Win7 reported "Out of memory" performance issues refering to DCS, all other applications well within tolerance. A brief moment of 5.5G RAM was used out of 8G, surely it was higher before. 8G+ 2G swap settings. Fresh DCS start instantly consumes 3+G RAM Anyone encountered such issues? I love the sim but if their is something I get really rid of is that slow download speed for updates. Can I overshoot that process or let it run in back task while I play DCS? So the sim could update when it's actually downloaded. When I have spare time to play,, it's not to be blocked by a slow download process... And when updates are downloaded, I have no time anymore. Failing that you could try deleting the autoupdate.cache file from your Saved Games\DCS folder. (I don't have one, but perhaps it gets removed after an update is finished?)
