Definitely not a bug, but a feature that can be improve, or you can learn to Skin ;)
You definitely didn't read the posts, it's that obvious.

After the update ADF/Radio selector doesnt work as keybinds or button. Just mouse click only in VC.

Befor Update it was ok.

- I suggest to place a mark in the map showing where is the anchor point

- When using bombs and select a target wingspan of 30 meters (for the garage), and a dive angle of 30-50 meters, the Sight dissappear from HUD when is uncaged, and is not visible even when you are diving and close to the target. In order to make it visible, I have to press the quick cage button that I mapped in the stick like the real MIG.

- The same of above for rockets, in this case with a wingspan of 7 meters to engage the trucks

- No problems with the sight and cannons

I have a G940 Logitech Joystick and mapped in the Axis Commands menu, the ASP-5 Wingspan selector and Dive angle to the rotary selectors of the joystick and is not working.

 

Are the dial knobs in the base of the image, I used the named TRIM 1 to the Wingspan selector and the TRIM 2 for the Dive angle (in the MIG-21 works perfect with the ASP)

Hi,do not vorry,because this mission is pure fiction.ASP-5 does not work like in real life.

Great work on MiG-19, I am loving it!.

 

Just one request, now when pressed the wheel brake acts instantly and fully, can we have it increase the pressure over half a second or second as it does in the MiG-15 and the MiG-21?

 

It will make it more realistic since the system needs time to build up the pressure and also it will make taxing much less jolting experience.

All the people keep asking for capabilities to be modelled.... I want the limitations to be modelled.... limitations make for realistic simulation.

it’s also odd when bound to an axis, unless it really does behave this way, but the steering always seems to kick in about halfway through and it stops really fast. I keep trying to brake before steering but it stops so quick!

In all three cases is ASP-5 in uncage mode but the piper moves only NR-30 mode-nonsens.Uncage is still uncage, gyroscope is free so piper is moving.

The issue with swallowing light gone after shaders rebuild(it was present at black surfaces like stick& throttle) - but i found a glitch with gauges glasses in "FACTORY NEW" cockpit - it look like shadowing of glass, lag behind shadowing of whole cockpit(for axample if one board became dark in shadows - glasses of gauges stay bright for some time & if you will continue flight with the same angle of lighting ,glass begin change from bright to dark step-by-step while all around is dark already)
Yep i got the same with the factory new pit

The ASP-5N gunsight is working correctly in the air to air cannons mode, both in it´s radar and optic regimes. So, in this case it´s simulated correctly.

 

Regarding the rockets use, currently there are a few issues with its implementation that we are working as it should work the same as the cannon armament in the optic mode.

 

We have the information about how bombs are employed in the flight manual and also we have the ASP-5N technical manual, which get a little more deep into the bombing mode, but still there are some parts that are not clear. We are aware that the ANGLE selector is used to introduce "lead" during the bombs employment (from 0 to 11º) and this lead, the altitude and dive angle are taken from a dive bombing chart.

 

finger, if you happen to have more info in this matter, like: at what angle the sight deflects when put in bomb mode, have the actual bombing table for ASP-5N (We have the table for MiG-21 and 23 sights, but not MiG-19 and we are testing right now if it could be used for the ASP-5), also, why do you mention that only two rocket pods can be used when the manual states clearly that the aircraft can mount four, please PM me.

About all the aircraft sounds:

 

 

We are working in a complete sound pack for the aircraft. There´re no aircraft in service currently we can use to record these sounds, so we are working trying to make them accurate. The will be added with updates including the brake lever sounds.

Thanks OverStratos that is good news,this is quite an important and very characteristic sound of any MiG with this style of braking system IMHO,even a similar or manufactured sound would be better than no sound.

 

Study any MiG with this braking system and they all ' hiss ' air on release of the brake lever.

Its true and it must be improved by Razbam Team

Here the "W" key works as 0 and 100% only, not like in MiG-15bis by Belsimtek - if You push more long the level of braking will be increased. I dont know why the did only 0 and 100% and beta testers didnt catch this.

+1 for fix for this.

Awesome :) Good sounds really add immersion and are really important giving feedback for the pilot, as we are missing the actual 'feel'.

This is no bug,but feature and nice effect,which arises when lever(GYRO- FIXED)is switching from FIXED position to GYRO position. This photo series was taken from an ASP-3NMU gunsight and it is very,very similar to ASP-5.

Thanks finger, that looks good and thanks for showing us that effect, but unless you have actual data or picture references from and ASP-5N gunsight we can´t take this as accurate, as the differences in design could mean that the ASP-5N won´t behave the same.
