In latest version of DCS 2.1.0.5677.215 with enabled deferred shading I have a black rectangles on all liveries. When it is disabled it is all fine.

the black squares are where the BORT number meshes are, apparently there's an Issue w/ the Specular Maps on them.

Performance is slidly better when deferred shading ON (1060).

But inside my M2000 the effect ist way to intens. You can barely see the HUD or something outside when the shading is on. Is seems to shiny and bright. Seems someone pushes the gamma slider to max.

At night the lights inside the cockpit are ugly.

Yup. Shelving the M2KC until some updates land, in Nevada at least; in fact shelving Nevada. The KA50 also has some horrendous lighting issues - all internal. Exterior views of, well, everything look absolutely spectacular. Really looking forward to it post bugfixes...

Interesting cockpit lighting effects at night :)

Sadly no updates made it into today's 2.1 update for the Mirage.

I can't fly it in 2.1 with Deferred Shading on. It's the horrendous dazzling cockpit, totally obscures the HUD.

At least with DS off, it's ok in Normandy! Whatever Deferred Shading does, it's spectacularly bad for the Mirage!

Thank goodness it's still good in Caucuses.

No sorry I mistyped. I meant, thank goodness the Mirage is still good in Caucuses.

With Deferred Shading on in either Normandy or Nevada, I can not read the Mirage HUD. Unless it's my monitor/GPU or ancient eyesight?:joystick:

Yes i understand! I just fly with deferred shading off.. as much as i like and want that effect! it makes cockpits look like pants. Water looks amazing with deferred shading on.. incredible in fact. But with deferred shading off water does not render for me and just looks like thick oil or something!.. is that the same for you?

Deferred shading off.

Are you meant to have VSYNC selected in game when you are using Nvidia G-Sync ?

Yes, absolutely.

After yesterday's update, in Normandy, with Deferred Shading on, the WW2 aircraft cockpits are much better, colour and contrast wise. The kneeboards are fixed, but the Spit has still not mirror!

With Deferred Shading on the Normandy scenery is superb! The beaches and waves on the sea are almost photo real! With AA off in game and X2 in NVidia Control Panel, I see good frame rates too.:D

I tried the Mirage again in both 2.1 maps and it's still unflyable with Deferred Shading on. I guess that's still to be fixed?

Nevada is another story. I don't fly much there anyway, but frames are far more stuttery with or without Deferred Shading.

Cheers.
