Hello dear flight enthusiasts, I am posting / linking the ASENA mission here. For feedback - improvements, general suggestions etc. . The goal was to create a relatively simple mission - which entertains through voiceovers - and requires spotting with the TGP. The mission should offer beginners a causal start and give a rough feeling for CAS missions. It is a close air support mission. A JTAC provides various information to you so that you can support the to ground forces. TGP & GBU-12 are in focus. I thought about processing complete 9liners - but this seemed too overwhelming for beginners, even if you only listen to them via audio. That's why I simplified it. No scripts or mods. The Arrorian Imperial Navy [AIN] is a group of sim pilots who welcomes new players. We have & welcome people from all over, for multiplayer, flight instruction, or whatever. We have people in AIN who fly almost every airframe I can think of in DCS world. (To be honest we don't fly warbirds much, but most all of us have 2-4 of them.) Between our 4 Admins we have highly experienced sim pilots of. F-14 Tomcat, A-10CII, F-16, F/A-18, Sa342 Gazelle, AV8B Harrier, and a moderate level of experience, working towards getting better in the Mirage 2000 and one guy who flies the JF-17. We also have multiple MiG21 drivers, AJS-37 Viggen, F-86 Saber, F-5 Tiger II and of course most of us own and fly the FC3 jets. About 60% of us have a military background and I mention that because sometimes it's good to have someone to talk to as a veteran. One of our goals is to make sure our fellow vets know that they can come and talk to someone who has been there and done that whenever they need. Furthermore, we're also looking for more veterans to be available to talk to veterans who need it on our discord server. We can do more than just enjoy a great simulator in these communities we have. You can play Operation Desert Storm alone, in co-op or against each other! There are no limits! The main goal in Operation Desert Storm is to take out the enemy aircraft (AI) and then land! Whoever manages this first, decides the victory for his faction! If one faction wins, the other faction loses! Again, you can fight the AI with a friend and then land. Or you can fight the enemy AI on your own while your friend / enemy has to do the same against you! The first to turn off all targets wins! You can of course do 2v2 1v2 and so on, no limits! The location is on the new Syria map and starts at sunrise! Now you are setup for my first Dynamic Mission and I really hope you will enjoy it! I have also added a Airshow! So you can train with oldschool aircraft like the TF51 or BF109! (please keep in mind that this mission does not try to be realistic at all! Its a 100% Generic Fun Mission, something you just wanna throw on without thinking to much and just testing out the latest stuff of DCS!) When I switch my seat from the commander seat to the co-pilot seat, then I often have the problem that the Petrovich AI messes up the flight. Even when I am requesting control quickly, it can mess up the flight stability for a short time or even lead to disastrous results, because the AI does not smoothly take over the controls. The second problem is that my axis are not updated when I switch to the front seat, which can e.g. lead to an idle collective position for a brief time (despite of my options settings to always update my current axis position) until I change my collective to update it. So I suggest to simply grant the player control for the flight controls immediately after switching to the front seat, and properly update the axis positions to ensure a smooth transition during flight in single player. The player can still decide to grant AI control afterwards. Thanks.

As the title suggests...I ask if there's a script or a way of keeping a copy of the plane, a static, where I left it after landing on an airfield or wherever, instead of de-spawning when using the "Choose Slot" menu (Singleplayer), aka changing to another plane. I'd like to see the plane I flew for hours where I left it as I change to another airplane in the same airport, it's a bit more realistic and gives a feel of accomplishment but I totally understand if there's a limitation to this or if it's not possible at all I tried a mod provided in a reply to this post called SWAPR which is fantastic and it fills the airfield with "life" so to speak, it's similar to what I'm describing but it doesn't replace the live plane with a static after switching. It'd be awesome to have the plane I poorly parked next to another static client plane, switching to that client plane and seeing the static just as I left it. However, I have no idea how to do scripting in LUA, much less MOOSE so, I ask if anyone out there knows of someone with the same question or if someone would be able to create what I'm asking for or something else. It'd be immensely appreciated!

Hello. With the newest OB-update, I am no longer able to access Syria multiplayer maps due to crashing, presumably because of lack of memory. All other maps are fine, and utilizing about 50% of memory, while Syria uses around 98 until crash. Pagefile is adjusted to 32GB (32768), and I've done a repair and removed mods folder. The images named RAM Cauc/PG/Syria are made in the mission editor with clear skies, and a single A10A flying from A to B. Image "High RAM" is an attempt to fly on the "Syria Rotorheads" MP server. Same results in Grayflag. In previous OB-versions I have been no where near these values. I've set preload radius to around 80000, but I have not had any issues running it with 150000 in previous versions. null dcs.log DxDiag.txt
