domini99 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I haven't followed the entire topic, but how capable will the mirage be in air-to-ground? It looks so promising!
Manuel_108 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 I would almost buy the Mirage for P3D in the meantime but the additional TACpack is too expensive, c'mon RAZBAM
Vectury Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 The plane looks amazing! Can't wait for release. Zeus67 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Nice, and stop picking on us whirlybird pilots! whirlybirds make excellent test subject for radar targets. They are airborne and cannot maneuver as fast as an aircraft. :D "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. Manuel_108 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Will you implement the synthetic runway feature?
Askerov24 Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 What is that? the silhouette of the runway is shown on the HUD Acer Aspire E5-571G-713W/Intel® Core™ i7-4510U 2.0-3.1GHz/12 GB DDR3 L Memo/NVIDIA® GeForce® 820M 2 GB/1000 GB HDD

It's the Mirage 2000-5F, with RDY multi target radar, Mica EM (Fox 3) and Magic 2 (Fox 2) training round. Now the Mirage 2000-5 uses Mica IR instead of Magic. Mica IR can also be shot in BVR... It can shoot 4 targets at the same time. It's a totally new weapon system, not just a Mirage 2000 C with Mica. Mirage 2000-Mk2 from Hellenic Air Force Edited August 14, 2015 by jojo Mirage fanatic ! jojo Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 (edited) the silhouette of the runway is shown on the HUD Here it is. This is symbolic runway, length and width are always the same, regardless of real runway dimensions. All Mirage 2000 variants can do that. Edited August 14, 2015 by jojo Mirage fanatic ! jojo Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015  nice! Well, it wad just to show how it looks like. Not a promise you will have it. I'm not the one to ask :music_whistling: Moreover it's not magic, it requires proper INS and altimeter settings, and ILS capture. So you need good preparation before flight. Mirage 2000 autopilot is very cool. It can follow ILS down to 200ft. Or you can fly threw the AP by adjusting heading and vertical path with stick trim command. Mirage fanatic ! Zeus67 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Last pic of the week. The TWS mode is starting to come together. One contact is locked while the others are still being tracked. The yellow line is the "intercept line" not the antenna sweep. The yellow box indicates that the contact is locked. Icons change from V to -v-. Many elements are still missing but will be incorporated later. Paradox Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Looking really good Zeus. That artificial runway symbology is crazy, it looks like 1980's science fiction.
