I think RNeves is mostly shooting in the dark with that guess. There could already be a significant amount of work done for the RWR without the display elements in place yet, or it might simply not take that long to finish. I am more interested in hearing about the progress of the EFM since we don't have much info about that. I know it's harder to take an informative screenshot of a flight model than bombs dropping, so it's easy to understand why.

He didn’t answer my question, and yes, I'm answering based on what we saw... and I keep what I said until some official news say otherwise... You are in this forum for enough time to know that progress takes time... Sometimes our desire to have a module in our hands makes us think that it will be ready sooner than it is plausible

On FB they said that a Pre Order is happening soon (soon tm I know) but its been in dev a while already. I'd say either this year or early 2016 if I had to put down money.

When and where did they say "soon"?

One day in DCS... Vipers will fly along side Tomcats... Bugs with Superbugs, Tiffy's with Tornado's, Fulcrums with Flankers and Mirage with Rafales...

:)The Future of DCS is a bright one:)

I wouldn't put any stock in anyone's idea of a release date, window time frame etc. for any module until you can pre-order the plane from the Eagle Dynamics web shop. To me this is always the best indicator for a proper release and anything else up to that point is always pure speculation (even the developer's own release estimates).

Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.

Really? Damn

I thought it was a lot closer.

That's not so wise, the Typhoon will require q very long time before release, I don't expect it before 2017. I d meanwhile enjoy the mirage tomcat and hornet

That's not what the VEAO said. They said multiple times, that they hope to get the eurofighter out at the end of THIS year.

See the first Q/A of their FAQ: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2424289&postcount=1

I haven't heard anything official contrary to that. But yeah, I also doubt that's gonna happen. I doubt that since they announced it, but they should know more than I do.

So even if it's not gonna be 2015 I think 2017 would be a HUGE delay, so I hope for (early) 2016.

Sorry for off-topic, but I couldn't let this stand here uncommented. :)

Now back to the Mirage: I'm curious about the cockpit language. From the pics it looks like it's labeled in english, but is that just for the game or are the french Mirage cockpits in english IRL? I would guess so, but then the french are not known for their love of the english language :D

Yeah that's why I was confused.

Anyways, sorry for running this topic off track :(

But I think that even if the release version will be French, some nice modders will make a translated cockpit for it :)

I'm pretty sure there will be an english version if the original is in french, but I was asking about the original, how it is in the french Air Force IRL? Are their cockpits in french or in english?

Most likely in French for French built aircrafts.

A400, C130, KC135FR etc... probably in English.

Aren't the Greek and other export customers getting customized cockpit markings?

Yes, the greek M2000 has an english labelled cockpit.

I'm sure razbam will offer that.
