Customer bonus system

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure what the recent post about the bonus system means, or what it is all about. Do you guys?

It would be great if someone could elaborate or clarify it with different wording, as I did not really get what they were saying.

As I understand it:

If you buy 2 modules at full price, you get a 25% discount on your next order.

3 moduls at full price will get you a 30% discount on your next order.

Ok thanks. The way they worded it seemed long and complicated to me. Was just not sure what it was

DCS: A-10C $39,99

+DCS: Black Shark 2 $39,99

+DCS: Combined Arms $29,99

=$109.97 (3 purchases @ 30% of total price = $32.99)

Check my math & logic please...

Should I see any money in the "My account" page? I bought the Su-25, Mi-8 and I think also BS1 at full price and there page says I have $0.

The Bonus system works from "now" on...so if you by Modules from now ...but in Wags Post is something about registering old purchases...

My Specs:

I don`t care..it is a Computer..a black one..

Wags mentions something about registering previously bought modules, but does anyone know what he means exactly? I bought both FC3 and MI-8 through the DCS site, and all other modules at full price through Steam, so I'd like I'd guess that should be enough for at least 20% bonus for my next purchase, right?

-- EDIT --

Oh, haha, I'm the third one to ask this, didn't see the other guys asking :D

I think they will explain how to redeem old purchases soon enough, does that mean the full price buyers of MI-8, redemption thingy is now defunct?

HP G2 Reverb, Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate as standard. OpenXR user, Open XR tool kit disabled. Open XR was a massive upgrade for me.

DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), 0 X MSAA, 0 X SSAA. My real IPD is 64.5mm. Prescription VROptition lenses installed. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC at the mo. MT user  (2 - 5 fps gain). DCS run at 60Hz.

Vaicom user. Thrustmaster warthog user. MFG pedals with damper upgrade.... and what an upgrade! Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height with brail enhancements to ensure 100% button activation in VR.. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound.... you know when you are dropping into VRS with this bad boy.

This is the part that needs clarification.

Customers that purchased DCS products at full price prior to the start of the bonus program can register their products and receive a bonus of 20% of the purchased price.

If that works out, my next couple of purchases will be practically free (once there is something else to buy).

=$109.97 (3 purchases @ 30% of total price = $32.99)

Check my math & logic please...

30% off, not 30% of the original price.

30% of 109.97: 109.97 x 0.3 = 32.99

109.97 - 32.99 = $76.98

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

quite nice from ED but somehow milkmaids maths for me..I mean if I buy 3 Modules at full price and get 30% for my 4th purchase I still pay way more then buy all 4 Modules in a sale (some sales are up to 40 - 50 %)..or did I miss something here?!?!

My Specs:

I don`t care..it is a Computer..a black one..

At first: Good idea, ED! thumbup.gif

Second: Especially, how it works. Buyed FC2, A-10C, CA and the Huey for full price. :)

This is the part that needs clarification.

If that works out, my next couple of purchases will be practically free (once there is something else to buy).

Yep you got me. Poor wording, sentence structure. That is what I meant. Thanks for cleaning it up.

You can apply it at your luxury...right? That is what I was getting at.

Does this apply if you purchase any 3rd party product such as VEAO, Belsim?

Most Likely only ED and ED Partners, but dont take my word for it, unless it comes from an ED Employee.

i think we need to wait, until we got more information, where we can register your "old" purchased - but a nice idea from ED/TFC.
