marluk Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 If Leatherneck does not expand the team, I assume next aircraft could be MiG-29. Novak served as pilot in JNA. Beside MiG-21 the army had MiG-29 also. Actually, I'm wondering if he had some experience on other planes beside MiG-21. If he is willing to share short flying biography it would be interesting to read. I believe that LN will announce future development shortly after MiG-21 release. Zakatak Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 You should do a western counterpart to the MiG-21! The F-5E Tiger II would be an excellent match for the MiG-21bis!
Boberro Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Guys, stop... we all know we want Su-22M4\M5 :P Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
possumkiller Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I would love both the MiG-23 and the Su-22. I think the Su-22 should be first though given it has more in common with the Mig-21. I think it would be easier. Sent from my cheap Walmart Straight Talk phone using Google Chrome.

Solty Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I'd rather see MiG31 or MiG25, but MiG23 is cool as well :P [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]In 21st century there is only war and ponies. Flycat Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 the good news is they have already started to work on next module. the bad news is they didn't told about what is next they are working on.
Focha Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Really nice find User. :) ASUS N552VX | i7-6700HQ @ 2.59GHz | 16 GB DDR3 | NVIDIA GF GTX 950M 4 Gb | 250 Gb SSD | 1 Tb HD SATA II Backup | TIR4 | Microsoft S. FF 2+X52 Throttle+Saitek Pedals | Win 10 64 bits
Stealth_HR Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Very, very nice find indeed. I don't see a radar scope anywhere - is it possible the Soviets already started projecting radar onto the HUD by then? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Real men fly ground attack :pilotfly: where EVERYTHING wants a piece of you :D
MiG21bisFishbedL Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Very, very nice find indeed. I don't see a radar scope anywhere - is it possible the Soviets already started projecting radar onto the HUD by then? Correct, the Flogger's radar information was displayed on the HUD. Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!

Eldur Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Very, very nice find indeed. I don't see a radar scope anywhere - is it possible the Soviets already started projecting radar onto the HUD by then? It's very interesting. I see lot's of things I know from either the MiG-21 (whole design, switches, those brackets in between the switches, brake pressure gauges, the seat strap thing on the right, the stick with some modifications) or the MiG-29 (combined G/AoA gauge, pylons panel and even the navigation thing the Su-25 has. It's so great that all those planes share lots of avionics, that makes them easier to model if one or more of them are done already. And it's easy to learn, of course :D
dawestsides Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 http://igor113.livejournal.com/102515.html This is the PVO museum located in Balashika/Moscow suburbs , a lovely place  [/url]My MAKS 2015 Pictures
mattebubben Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Would love to see the Mig 23. It would be awsome and it also looks great. And it would be very cool to have a Variable-sweep wing aircraft. Mig 27 could also be nice as a fast ground attack aircraft.
swe_badger Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Yup, really hope they're making the MiG-23 or the Su-22. AMD FX-6300 8GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE LP DDR3 RAM SAPPHIRE HD 7790 DUAL-X O/C 1GB DDR5 2TB SEAGATE HDD WIN7 ULTIMATE X64

kobac Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I think it would be best if LN offer first upgrade to MiG-21-93 "BISON" version, and then MiG-23. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Everything is possible ...
Boomer Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Please LN, do MiG-23MLD next!! :P Wishlist: DCS: MiG29M/CMT | DCS: MiG25/31 | DCS: MiG-23MLD | DCS: F16CJ
mattebubben Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Mig-23MLD Would be awsome. It would be an aircraft that could actually be comewhere competetive. Armed with the R-73 it would have a powerfull short-medium range armament. With the R-24 being a good Medium range weapon. I think the Mig-23 would be a perfect choice for leatherneck. Its an awsome aircraft that would be fun to fly and would also be the first fully modeld aircraft with Variable wings. It would be a valuable addition to both SP and MP.
boquinauer Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Mig-23MLD Would be awsome. It would be an aircraft that could actually be comewhere competetive. Armed with the R-73 it would have a powerfull short-medium range armament. I'm afraid that the most advanced short range that the Mig23 MLD con use is the R-60. Only the Mig23-98 can use the R-73. But this aircraft is the latest update of the Mig23 ML and I don't think that is disclasified yet.
MBot Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 I'm afraid that the most advanced short range that the Mig23 MLD con use is the R-60. Only the Mig23-98 can use the R-73. But this aircraft is the latest update of the Mig23 ML and I don't think that is disclasified yet. In the final years of being stationed in Germany, Soviet/Russian MiG-23MLD actually carried R-73. There are plenty of pictures of that (mostly with the appropriate launch rails only though).
mattebubben Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 As Mbot said the MLD was able to carry the R-73. As it did not have the helmet site for the R-73 like the Mig 29 and Su27 did the weapon was not as powerfull at short ranges but the MLD was able to and did carry it in the last few years (before the fall of soviet)
