This is from a not released, personal (mod) scenery test. I suggest not to pay too much attention to it. I saw a similar a thread around.

 

For obvious reasons, EDGE is around the corner and heavy modified scenery in the current engine brings down fps to 0 :P

As you might notice the trees are looking good on these pics, together with bushes etc. If you think of it as a few different 3D treemodels placed positioned on the map around the airport it explains that the pictures looks very nice with great artwork on the different textures. All in all fantastic work, a pity it wasn't released by the person.

 

For those reasons I say don't bother. If we as a community use the sdk tools for EDGE we could make something beautiful and really usable too :)

Sorry, but that is not true. I can test this complete new revision for DCSW for some time here. Everything runs fine with the method gs used here.

I often wonder why we get to see screenshots of this work considering the majority of us will never ever get to use them, don't get me wrong i love Grandsurf's work but how many years have we been seeing these? it's a big long tease :D

to much load for cpu imo , yes its nice but the current engine wont be able to handle it,

frame rates will take a big drop, however I do like the animated trees grass, he created.
