Kaned Dragon Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Does anyone know when DCS will release an update for the SU-25T and give us a 6 DOF cockpit?
Kuky Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Nope PC specs: Windows 11 Home | Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D + LC 360 AIO | MSI RTX 5090 LC 360 AIO | 55" Samsung Odyssey Gen 2 | 64GB PC5-48000 DDR5 | 1TB M2 SSD for OS | 2TB M2 SSD for DCS | NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1 1000W | TM Cougar Throttle, Floor Mounted MongoosT-50 Grip on TM Cougar board, MFG Crosswind, Track IR
Trooper117 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I'm only flying the Su-25 at the moment... until that new 25T cockpit arrives of course
Lizzard Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 (edited) nowadays the Devs a very very silent...not much (or any) news at all... Edited March 10, 2014 by Lizzard My Specs: I don`t care..it is a Computer..a black one..
Evilducky Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I have a really good feeling that we will be seeing A LOT of new things in the 1.2.8 update. The Su-33 3D 6DOF pit, the AFM for the F-15 and the new 3D 6DOF pit for the Su-25T as some of the new things. :)
joey45 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 They're a bit old. Can ED release some newer ones please? The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. "Me, the 13th Duke of Wybourne, here on the ED forums at 3 'o' clock in the morning, with my reputation. Are they mad.." https://ko-fi.com/joey45
Silver_Dragon Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 4 month ago, not bad some new develop update of gragh cockpit :). For Work/Gaming: 28" Philips 246E Monitor - Ryzen 7 1800X - 32 GB DDR4 - nVidia RTX1080 - SSD 860 EVO 1 TB / 860 QVO 1 TB / 860 QVO 2 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Warthog / TPR / MDF
Trooper117 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I know they are old :) But you can bet there will be people who haven't seen them yet. But I agree, it would be nice to have an update... after all, this is the aircraft that comes free with the game, and they should be 'bigging it up' at every opportunity to get more potential DCS recruits...
Scarecrow Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I was just thinking about this subject this very afternoon. Sure would be nice to see more of the Su25T 2.0 update plz :bounce:
The_Pharoah Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I actually quite like the SU25T. Its not the prettiest bird in the sky (looks more like a vulture than anything else esp when compared to the beautiful lines of say an F16) but handles quite nicely, is quick and packs a punch! plus, it goes from zero to takeoff in like 1.5 mins or something (online anyway) instead of the 5 or so mins for the A10C. I'm currently using a mod to get 6DOF for this bird but would welcome a proper one...even if its old. Devrim Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 You can't compare Su-25T and A-10C for now. A-10C is with almost fully realistic avionics etc., but Su-25T has simplified cockpit. Can you believe that you can start engines with only one button? snuffles Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 yeah, but he likes that he doesn't have to sit in the pit and twiddle his fingers waiting to taxi... I don't always openly list my things. But when I do, I put it in my signature.

The_Pharoah Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 yeah, but he likes that he doesn't have to sit in the pit and twiddle his fingers waiting to taxi... lol..this. guys, don't take everything so literally. As I said, I'm liking the SU25T because its fast, rugged and packs a punch AND gets me airborne in 1.5 minutes if not sooner. Sure it doesn't have everything the A10C has but its still pretty good. Weta43 Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Can you believe that you can start engines with only one button You have to start the electrical power too, so wouldn't that be two buttons? If you turn on the power, start one engine then the other, it's 3 ( actually, by default isn't it 3 commands, but 6 buttons ? :) ) Cheers.
HiJack Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 (edited) .. Would love to see a 6-DOF Su-25T with or without switches. For me it's about the flight and weapons procedures anyway so. Switches makes it the best but totally not required to have a good time. Edited March 11, 2014 by HiJack

mwd2 Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 At the moment, the Su-25T is the only human playerable SEAD aircraft - so it is important! Playing: DCS World Intel i7-13700KF, 64GB DDR5 @5600MHz, RTX 4080 ZOTAC Trinity, WIN 11 64Bit Prof. Squadron "Serious Uglies" / Discord-Server: https://discord.gg/2WccwBh Ghost0815
Conroy Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 The pilot's 3D model need an upgrade as well. However as has been said above, SU-25T is a must have because of SEAD. It's probably the most important aircraft for our games.
srky Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 As far as I'm concerned, it is more important to have animated switches in the cockpit than to make it clickable. That way you can always know in what mode are all the systems just by glancing the instrument panel. This goes for the fighters too. I don't think there is much point in chasing the switches with mouse in the heat of the battle so I will probably be using keyboard and joystick buttons anyway. Still, a 6dof cockpit for this bird... a dream!
Devrim Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 ...Can you believe that you can start engines with only one button?YES!:D I didn't mean PC keyboard (HID) button. And sorry, I forgot to write "in real life"... :) Intel i7-14700@5.6GHz | MSI RTX4080 SuperSuprimX | Corsair V. 64GB@6400MHz. | Samsung 1TB 990 PRO SSD (Win10Homex64) Samsung G5 32" + Samsung 18" + 2x8"TFT Displays | TM Warthog Stick w/AVA Base | VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle | TM MFD Cougars | Logitech G13, G230, G510, PZ55 & Farming Sim Panel | TIR5 & M.Quest3 VR >>MY MODS<< | Discord: Devrim#1068
