Which Trainer/Light Attack Aircraft Interests You Most?

As far as I know, the British Hawk, the Czech L-39, the Spanish C-101, and the French Alphajet are all currently in the works for DCS World. They're all pretty similar aircraft that fulfill the same roles, being advanced trainers and light attack aircraft. Out of the 4, which one interests you the most?

 

The Aviojet team is very productive and active with the community, and the weapon options on the C-101CC are quite impressive. That has the most of my interest right now.

Forgot about it. There last update was 4 months ago, so I can't say I'm confident in it being released anytime soon. I'm pretty confident in the other ones getting released in within a couple years at the most however.

I've always liked the Hawk. Also payload options for C-101CC looks impressive, I can see myself getting it as well when it's released.

 

Actually I really like this sort of aircraft, so can't hep but admit I like L-39 too :))

I also like all of them. More the L39 because Romania flies them. But probably will buy trainers when they are at discount.

BAE Hawk for me too - British made, so it's obviously far better than the rest - or maybe I am a little biased too - who can tell?

I think I prefer the Alphajet, with the C-101CC being a close second. The L-39 gets bonus points for looks, but the Hawk beats it I think. The more versatile plane I guess.

But like Roadrunner said, the Italian AMX is a plane I'd love to see in DCS as well. A great light attack plane, with aerial refueling capability.

Hawk, obvs.

Although I'd happily take an L-39 second, mostly because it's a bit underpowered (compared to the Hawk) and will make for an interesting airplane to fly.

That L-39 is damn beautiful, I'd take that lovely bird over anything else on that list even if it costs more.

Im excited for all of them. But if someone made the Yak-130... they would all be pushed down for that.

My preference would be something like

 

1. Alphajet - for the looks and for historical reasons (german luftwaffe flew them)
   
2. Hawk - for the looks and also just because it is the other one of these four I already knew a bit about. And VEAO is cool. :o)
   
3. C-101 - for the CC variant and it's capabilities
   
4. L-39 - don't know really much about it - but "if it flies, I buys!"

I'd love Super Tucano or AT-6 in DCS. Any of the modern prop light attackers actually :).

I ticked the Hawk, only because we use it here in Australia and I'd like to to see one with an Australian skin.

 

Truth is I'll probably buy them all eventually. I have found that I enjoy flying all the current DCS aircraft at different times, and for different reasons. I'm sure it will be the same for these training jets too.

 

First one to end up with the PFM will be a bonus though.
