obviously they wont release it however until it is done.

oh yes you can fly but no tracking of your activities...really sad. No medals, no logbook, no historics of your kills...for a simulation. you can simulate planes but not the pilot...very sad.

Please note that version 1.2.9 was created simply to launch DCS: F-86F Sabre and DCS: Fw 190 D-9 Dora. We also hope to see some new third party projects released in 1.2.9. As such, this version is NOT intended as bug fixing version... that will be for DCS World 2.0.0.

 

Does nobody read what Wags actually posts or do they just complain instead? He explicitly states that it's not a bugfix or to release anything other than the F-86 and Dora.

yes we know. The problem is we get 1.2.8 months ago and we need fix! We need fix not only for logbook. So if we have to wait months to get 2.0...it's terrible.

 

Yes they ad new plane but they add them on a soft thet need to be fix asap.

I am trying to update my game from yesterday to 1.29. The update starts and it download about 30MBs of data then it give me the following error message message The server capacity may be limited at the moment. Please, try again later. I tried to update from menu using DCS Updater. Tried to repair my game. After some searching i saw the DCS update log file. There is some error while downloading some files. The log is

I tried to update my game on different time but with same error message. Then i re-install the DCS world 1.28 and try to update but still same error.

 

I can't create any new thread due to newbie.

I know this is the file Bazar/shaders/fxo/c6a10446f8b13b7cf3701fa68c2dada4.fxo that causing the problem. I created a fake file with same size but without any luck.

Please help me. It is frustrating as hell As i can't even join online.

It's reported, but I dont see a fix yet, but it does seem like its slated for 2.0.0.

I think there are some kind of "PRE-EDGE thing" in this update.. because FPS in my case are gently improved and I feel different the lighting and textures. Don't you think so?

? That's odd you be lucky then since most have reported lower frame rates and stuttering with 129. People need to realize that edge doesn't automatically mean higher fpS. Should mean a nice clean pipe for all the graphical goodness goes straight to the gpus, but if you have a weak gpu you won't get high fpS so to speak.

I haven't noticed any graphical improvements with 129 but then again I don't play the game stock I run ssweetfx and mustangs shader and cloud mod.

It should improve GPU utilization for newer high end cards optimized for DX11, which should translate to increased FPS even with increased graphics quality.

 

But any definitive result remains to be seen once released, as you said. What it should do and what it actually does can be quite different depending on a number of moving parts.
