Don't get me wrong with any of the things i will say... But who cares if the aircraft can't turn??

 

It's one of its real characteristics, just like all of it's rivals, like the F-4, F-105, F-111, F-100, F-104, F-101, F-8 that were named before.... They were all turkeys in terms of maneouverability, this era was the era when everyone believed that the dogfights were ending (remember the fact the F-4 came withou a machine gun).

 

Despite the fact that most of the fighters of this era were turkeys didn't prevent them from becoming iconic, like the MiG 21 and the Phantom did...

 

And BTW how do you want an aircraft with such a small wing surface to be agile??

 

Face it, it is a slow turner, but an Iconic slow turner... All we need to do is adapt to it

Disclaimer: I am not trying to offend any promo-user here, just my opinion. I enjoy every second of Mig-21 footage.

 

I think it's quite interesting approach. I mean if you want to have a wider span of audience you can't only aim to showcase the product towards hardcore sim enthusiast. I think it is, as important to show that you don't have to have massive sim-interest to be able to enjoy this aircraft.

OK - she goes from 270km/h to a sedate walking pace in under 650 metres. Not too shabby, ideal for short runways, or roads: Have to put that on the to-do list :joystick:

I'm trying to record trailer footage in 2.0 at the moment, and both brakes and the drogue chute are bugged on our end. It's making recording a landing.. tricky. :D

So i have now watch all three videos (i know, shame on me), still like to see the MiG-21 in the air, but i don`t think you make a good job to promote the bird.

Few factoids: The Mig out-turns the F-4, F-105, F-111, F-100, F-104, F-101, F-8 and the F-106 to name but a few. The F-5 has a slight chance to keep up.
