EngineerFalcon Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Yes, we really need more of these. Along with toggle switches, for example "Toggle locked beam mode on/off", as I'm running out of buttons :)

Juuba Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 I wish they'd make a "Toggle" function to go along with all of the "ON and OFF" functions. Feels stupid to waste 2 buttons on the HOTAS to turn something on and off. Sometimes I Amaze even Myself!
sissypilot Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Not only this but multiple toggle buttons. It is ridiculous that releasing a safety cap and pushing a button require four assignments (release cap, activate button, deactivate button, close cap).
Lumax Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 it doesnt say anything about this in the 1.2.15 comming update either. its kind of sad.. the 1st post about this was made 10-16-2014, 09:53 PM and it is still not implemented. this is verry much wanted and needed.
tsb47 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Is this problem solved already? Looking for it too^^ No. We're still hoping and waiting patiently! Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit | i7-4790K@4GHz | 8GB RAM | GTX970 347.52
ApoNOOB Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Still nothing? Leatherneck please.. A simple rotary left/right switch for the weapon selector was requested at day one. This is not up for discussion, the MiG-21 is halfway done in my eyes. Clickable cockpit is fine and dandy, but there is stuff that gotta be bindable to HOTAS systems. I know for a fact many pilots are very annoyed by this, could you please speak up? 1
Aginor Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 +1 for that feature. That would really rock! DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet

Deezle Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Glad to hear it's coming! This will be great with my encoder knobs. Biggest thing keeping me out of the 21 right now is lack of being able to map things how I want. Cobra847 Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Inputs are getting completely revamped, simplified and improved for one of the next MiG-21 revisions at this moment. You should probably all expect to have to re-do your bindings when the time comes, but the changes should be for the better. Fixxxer46 Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Thanks for the update. Is this something that will come with DCS 2.0 ?

I hope not too simplified though :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I5 4670k, 32GB, GTX 1070, Thrustmaster TFRP, G940 Throttle extremely modded with Bodnar 0836X and Bu0836A, Warthog Joystick with F-18 grip, Oculus Rift S - Almost all is made from gifts from friends, the most expensive parts at least
Nutrition Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 +1 on all of this. I'm a newby trying to work my way around the DCS command system, and the Mig 21 scripts in particular, and would greatly benefit from rotary toggles, and Inc/Dec ability on virtually all of the Mig switches. I've been successful with 2 and 3 position switches on my Warthog throttle, but I need to be able to use my Saitek rocker switches more fully on many more of the 3 position Mig switches, (like the radar and radar low alt filters) by being able to increment and decrement, or even to toggle in a rotary fashion.
GottHold Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 So now its November, is there anything new or a solution, on how to get toggle keys? Have a nice day!
HOKUM52 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Sorry to bring this old nag up again,, just bought module for 2.0/1.5 and soon as i saw weapon selector i thought id bind it as a toggle? i see post from 2014 talking about this, is it ever gonna happen?
Sokol1_br Posted December 19, 2015 Posted December 19, 2015 For now, a workaround: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2438524&postcount=1
Tronorail Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 For now, a workaround: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2438524&postcount=1 It appears that this workaround only works if your input device has fewer than 32 buttons. Unfortunately, it looks like the Thrustmaster Warthog throttle has exactly 32 buttons. :(
