trindade Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Hi, guys! I'm a little hesitant about trying out the DCS world 1.2.11 beta. Should I try out the DCS world 1.2.11 beta into the DCS world 1.2.10 stable release or should I wait until the DCS world 1.2.11 is released? Does any of you have the DCS world 1.2.11 beta installed over the DCS world 1.2.10 stable? I would like to be able to fly at very high altitude in the Mig-21bis without any oxygen issues! Thanks! Cheers, Vincent I've both. ;)

Cheers, Vincent I think Your misunderstand something. 1.2.1 can not be installed over Your 1.2.10 release version. There is a DCS World beta version available that You can update with 1.2.11. Your release version 1.2.10 will remain untouched until 1.2.11 has been released for that. FinnJ | i7-10700K 3.8-5.1Ghz | 64GB RAM | RTX 4070 12GB | 1x1TB M.2. NVMe SSD | 1x2TB M.2. iFoxRomeo Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Does the FM still change after rearm? Or did they accidentally fix it? For me the most annoying bug at the moment due to the fast paced a2g missions I fly with a friend... It's fixed. And there was no FM problem after rearm. Just check Cone switch ;) It is not fixed in OB 1.2.11 I tested this yesterday. Acceleration and climb gets worse with every refueling. After the second refueling it is impossible to climb to 10km altitude with mil power only. After the 3rd refueling and "EMPTY" rearming, the MiG is too heavy to takeoff. The speeds for takeoff are higher than what the tyres can handle. Fox Spoiler PC Specs: Ryzen 9 5900X, 3080ti, 64GB RAM, Oculus Quest 3
Spectrum Legacy Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Thanks for the patch LN, you guys never fail to impress. Can't wait for the release now! About rearm bug in 1.2.10, it is really something to look into, as I still have to pick fresh plane (i.e. spawn reset) after I land and taxi to the parking. What I noticed is that pylon adaptors have rather big impact on FM too, so after I shoot Groms or S24s, I always jettison those pylon adaptors, otherwise plane behaves very much like it was still loaded. If the jettison isn't working (you can hear the jettisoning sounds repeatedly as long as you hold down the button), select appropriate pylons on weapon selector as if you wanted to fire those weapons again and then push jettison button. It should work. Note: All above is 1.2.10 info, as I haven't tried beta yet. Cheers! Sent from my pComputer using Keyboard

Apart from being very easy to reproduce everything you suggest has already been done (and more) http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=131322 There is also a video in the thread showing the problem. Dolphin887 Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 "Accumulated fuel weight" bug is fixed, I can only hope it will be available in the 1.2.11. Power through superb knowledge, training and teamwork. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
QuiGon Posted November 8, 2014 Author Posted November 8, 2014 "Accumulated fuel weight" bug is fixed, I can only hope it will be available in the 1.2.11. Is that what the "rearm bug" is about? It adds the new fuel to the amount of fuel from the last refueling? That would make sense. Can anyone confirm that it's fixed in 1.2.11? I can't check it myself since I have some troubles with my PC currently. iFoxRomeo Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 If you want the problem to be fixed, attach a track. Such problems are not easy to reproduce, therfore a track will definatelly help. Normally you´re right. But in this case it is easier to fly for oneself. It is easy to reproduce and in the corresponding thread I posted a video showing the problem. It always occurs. If you (fly and refuel)*3 you will notice the problem. Is that what the "rearm bug" is about? It adds the new fuel to the amount of fuel from the last refueling? That would make sense. Can anyone confirm that it's fixed in 1.2.11? I can't check it myself since I have some troubles with my PC currently. 1.2.11 is not released yet. Only 1.2.11 ->open beta<-, where the problem is still present. But as Dolphin, I hope too that it will make it in the 1.2.11 release. Dolphin, thank you  Fox Spoiler PC Specs: Ryzen 9 5900X, 3080ti, 64GB RAM, Oculus Quest 3
TurboHog Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I thought it had something to do with accumulating loadout. Only I was thinking in terms of stores, not fuel. 'Frett'
ff4life4 Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I thought it had something to do with accumulating loadout. Only I was thinking in terms of stores, not fuel. I was thinking the same thing. However, fuel seems like it might make more sense. Just my own idea, but If the stores were "doubled" I think it would have a much more detrimental impact on flight characteristics. Doubling fuel over and over is still a substantial amount of weight, but It does make sense to me. I just hope whatever they do the problem is fixed. I have confidence

Mainstay Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Will there be new liveries and a template when 1.2.11 goes live next week?
Vinny002 Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Hi, guys! Question for you, how do I pressurize the cockpit in DCS Mig-21bis? I know about the hermetize canopy function. Thanks! Cheers, Vincent
QuiGon Posted November 11, 2014 Author Posted November 11, 2014 It's RV38 in the manual. The smaller of the two canopy levers on the left vertical panel just above the pilot O2 gauge. But that question is really off-topic though. Please keep it on-topic here and create a thread for such questions or just use the one that you already have created: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=131147 ... TurboHog Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Batumi - Anapa (280nm) in 30 minutes from runway to runway, 400L fuel left. Cruising mach 2.05 @ 42000ft for the better part. 490L drop tank and two missiles. Previously I could hardly reach Gelendzhik starting from Kobuleti . Also glad to see that wind affects the airplane. Didn't see it in the changelog?? 'Frett'
mipko Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 what about commands - rotary switches i.e. Radio Channel does it have +/- command that can be assigned to kbd or joy button ?
TurboHog Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Another unannounced fix: Flares are launched in a proper direction now. What more do you have for us LN  'Frett'
