Can i ask you this Typhoon will be modeled after the early block or the late block?

We are doing Tranche 1 block 5 with the associated systems and capabilities

That was an old render Valium before our agreements with the MOD etc.

So no, not in our immediate plans for Shadow Sword or Brimstone.

I will get around to listing the viable armament when we have finalized the schedule and workflow internally. But I would expect it to carry ASRAAM, AMRAAM, Paveway II's and GBU-16's plus drop tanks, on board cannon and AIM-9L

No any A/G missiles? :(

Haven't you thought about adding one like AGM-154 ( not used in real but could be in game )?

No we won't include any fictional missiles, our modules are about true to life Simulations of aircraft so we don't believe in introducing fictional loadout for aircraft.

EPW II as well? If you make a RAF block 5 then GBU-16 would be superflous as redundant to UK PW II and actually not operated by the RAF, though the weapon is integrated and could be used in theory.

Highly unlikely

No ALARM/METEOR/Paveway III/IRIS-T? :noexpression: Oh well, can't have everything..it's still the Typhoon nevertheless. ;)

Edit: Wait, IRIS-T is cleard for Block 5 anyway, so it might be a possibility?

ALARM was never a Tiffy loadout... Never was.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Do the block 5s have the ability to aim those Paveway IIs? Isn't that what the buddy lasing in Libya was about?

I've seen typhoons with TGPs but I've assumed those to be Tranche 2.

I could be wrong.

LGB's are actually more practical weapons these days. They are dropped at altitude (which gives them similar range) with laser pod assist rather than diving and designate by hand slewing the seeker. Mavericks don't work easy like Falcon BMS shows. :) It's hard work.

What about Avionics System Flight Manual on that source: already posted?

Sorry, I think I missed that, what about it?

No it does not, Brimstone was always lined up as a replacement and AFAIK AGM 65 implementation never happened, Aside from some initial fittings etc I dont think they were ever used on the Tornado Gr4 either.

Yes the block 5 can use the Litening Pod

I can not comment on operational requirements

Ah,

We have had that manual for quite sometime, but there are major areas that are incomplete and huge chunks of data missing.

It was impossible to use that as a sole source for systems data for the Typhoon.

Useful yes, but far from enough to do much with the tiffie where asm/mhdd and efm are concerned

Hey guys i was wondering if either of you got to go for a ride in the two seater version of this aircraft, because how can you model the aircraft and not take a ride in one? :pilotfly: :D :D :D :D

With me flying it, you can consider the air frame an air to ground missile :D

(first one to call me a dumb bomb gets banned)

;)

Am I the first!?!
