Hook47 Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 I agree I think this hype and secrecy is pointless. Its not like this is national security. Just tell us what they are and if they interest us we'll buy them. I can't help feel this build up and anticipation are going to be counter productive when everyone is annoyed that it isn't the aircraft they want. Yea I actually agree. I think I would be enjoying this experience so much more if I knew what I was getting excited about, and I don't exactly follow LNS reasoning for the big secret. I don't there is any, actually, they are just keeping it a secret because "reasons" or something. . .

OverStratos Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Indeed I´m curious, ...but apart from some smart competence moves I can´t see a justification for this. So and then one day we get a surprise. We aviators hate surprises, so you know.
MiG21bisFishbedL Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Indeed I´m curious, ...but apart from some smart competence moves I can´t see a justification for this. So We aviators hate surprises, so you know. I know you were looking forward to that $100 Hamburger run and had it planned for two weeks, now. We here at the FAA felt that it wasn't exciting enough. So, with that in mind, we'd like to present you with a treasured aviation gift: A TFR. Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!
OverStratos Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I thought it was ice cream instead of hamburgers. mmm...

Yea but compare this to the Razbam Mirage thread. Look at the amount of input going back in forth between the devs and the community. It is a very positive thing for development (when the dev handles it right, and doesn't get hurt feelings...) in fact the community input has fostered improvement by bringing dev attention to deficiencies. I think that is being missed out on with this big secret squirrel thing.
ED Team NineLine Posted November 12, 2015 ED Team Posted November 12, 2015 Yea I actually agree. I don't there is any, actually, they are just keeping it a secret because "reasons" or something. . . Devs share things when they have things to share, when LNS has something to share they will. Its a pretty simple concept. LNS is gathering their stuff for their announcement, just need to try and maintain some patience.... There is plenty of time for community input, especially as we plan to support our modules for many many months after release (see the MiG-21) Nicholas Dackard Founder & Lead Artist Heatblur Simulations https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/
Hook47 Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 There is plenty of time for community input, especially as we plan to support our modules for many many months after release (see the MiG-21) We know you will, I just really look forward to looking forward to the module, if that makes any sense! I guess what I was driving at is since it sounds like the announcement and release are estimated to be close together, there won't be as much time for community based research and discussion about any WIP shots, videos or other media we get. You guys are killin us with the suspense as well, so that's a thing.

LNS is gathering their stuff for their announcement, just need to try and maintain some patience.... Well, the thread title is about speculation, is´t it? That´s what we are doing and having fun in the meantime. I think that most posters over the age of 25 here are ok wherever LNS decide to reveal the two upcoming modules. If they like it (or I) they will buy it and that´s all. Ramsey delivered his opinion without breaking the rules I guess.:) There is plenty of time for community input, especially as we plan to support our modules for many many months after release (see the MiG-21) I really hope you don´t deliver the tuna pizza without the tuna.
Cobra847 Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I really hope you don´t deliver the tuna pizza without the tuna. That is not what I meant. All of our modules are planned to be feature complete. That does not mean they're feature locked, however. Tuna = fish = canned white meat = One of the most healthy and delicious meats that are out there. and you´re comparing this with some animals and their secretions? Oh man.:helpsmilie:
