FC3 reaches the largest possible audience I think.

Maybe, but it doesn`t matter.

The fun (for me) is not only just the fly with and against the guys - it is also to manage the detail of the DCS aircrafts/helicopters!

A (MiG-15 & Mi-8 ) vs (F-86F & UH-1H) would also be nice....just AAA and shortrange IR-SAMs.

Should try it!

If we read the stats all the Flanker and Eagle fleets has been destroyed also. Twice, virtually. Also they were only 12 Ka-50 constructed and only four were used in limited test real combat. Are you against using in the campaign because they very few real numbers?

I dont have nothing against including the Su-33 and the Mig-29. More variety and fun.

The American Navy has more fighters than the entire Russian Federation. This doesn't include the US Marine Corps or the US Airforce. This also fails to mention the generation split between the sides, of 4th 4.5th and 5th gen aircraft. But on the flipside, it's a video game so bring it on. ;)

Mirage 2000 in active service in India. Currently along side the Sukoi 30M export and other Eastern/Chinese fighters. Great deals with Russia, friends with US and GB, currently a super power in limited war with Pakistan (also Mirage 3) and both countries have attended Red Flag in Nellis.

Plenty of scope for Red Mirages there.

Also, Red and Blue are mainly convenient and popular colours, the campaign isn't political divisions it's just convenient. The Fighters are split because it's more realistic and helpful for those with RWR to get a useful electronic understanding of a large battlefield.

People should play what they like, not be driven by a percieved political division.

Vote for green and orange please :)

I would hold off on all these plans, the Mirage 2000 is at least 3 months away and at the moment doesn't even have an EFM (dev. version currently with an SFM.

The most logical REDFOR AI fighter comparible to the F-16C Blk.52 with AIM-120s is the MiG-29S equipped with R-77s.

I don't know but I always have imagined that Mirage 2000C would be red. :music_whistling:

Sorry, my mistake for not being clear. I meant operational aircraft, not aircraft that are in a "Standby" state that'll require a few months or work to get going, sorry for not being clear.

Even still, one branch of the use military having almost as many aircraft isn't bad.

As for the Su-35, I wouldn't mind seeing an F-22 on blue, at least that's an active fighter, coupled with AIM-120D's which are active weapons.

Sorry, sorry, I'll stop now. :)

You must know how many operational or not operational aircraft the russian federation has.

+1 For the expert in internal affairs of russian Air force.

What is a man if he loses his homeland? We, the pilots, must fly and take the first and the strongest impact of the aggressor on ourselves so we could save at least one child in this country.

Well the second one is the F 35, chinese version.

This project costs about 1,5 trillion $ and its the most expensive weapon project

in History.

A shame that chinese stole the data and build a F35 too.

Red tec now.

Thread is derailing.

What's the benefit of counting the amount of a/c an airforce has or claiming development of an a/c or discussing here future DCS-modules?

IMO nothing of this will help the development of current Blue Flag campaign or it's incarnations.

Let's go back to topic and see where we can optimize the balance of power in BF with the assets we already have.

I only want to said that i dont believe in the argument about few real numbers of an airplane to not include it in blue flag. Again the real Ka-50 was only 12 and we have it for both sides on the campaign. Because is useful for all of us.

We have in FC3 the Su-33 and the Mig-29 and it could be a nice addition to the blue flag campaing. Nothing else. Mig-29 has active missiles but very short legs, could be a great AB defender. Su-33 has 2 extra missiles and long legs, a great addition to the Su-27.

The debate about real planes , stealth planes, bla bla bla, isnt of my interest at all for this campaign.

No need to talk plane unless the pilot issue has been solved. I'm sure half of the blue players haven't even meet anything else than AI fighters

Yeah!

We really need more Red Players from NA!

Definitely some lag issues on the server this evening - saw some pretty crazy jumping around :). The air defences (at least what I saw of them) look a lot better too :).

Saw a couple of nuke splashes (I mean the wierd texture after one has been used) from Mig-21s around Sukhumi. I know these can cause issues with performance and other odd stuff happening.
