Here is a guided tour of the NTTR terrain flown in the A-10. It includes identification of landmarks used for navigation, some weapons deliveries on various ranges, and some history of the area. Links are in the video description to information sources and maps used.

One question, you were there and saw everything from the ground. How good did ED with recreating the whole area? If i fly for eyample in Xplane over a german capital city there is absolutely nothing to recognise for vfr flying, you need mods to be actually able to do vfr flights. So how good did they done there job?

 

Keep up the good work, love your videos. I think the MI-8 series is delayd because you want to play with the new map? ;)
