As for what happens after Black Shark, the team has several aircraft modules currently in development (this could include development of 6 DOF cockpits, avionics or flight dynamics). While the A-10A Suite 2 module will still likely follow the Black Shark, the following aircraft are also now planned for DCS in development at one stage or another:

 

1- A-10A Suite 2 (latest version of A-10A in active use)

2- A-10C Suite 3 (we now able to develop an entertainment version of the simulation we developed for them. We are very happy and excited about this).

3- AH-64A Blk. 49A

4- Su-27

5- F-15C

6- Mi-24V

7- F-16C

8- MiG-29A

I'm not sure that I understand what seems to be quite a defensive response from you. To the best of my knowledge, and I apologise if I have misunderstood this, but you don't officially represent ED in any way, shape or form.

 

Yes I have not officially a ED member, but I was a 3rd party member (ex-Coretex), and "maintain" some years ago the "roadmap" with info helped by some ED and 3rd parties member, forum moderators and the community, very strangle that was convert on "cuasi-official" :thumbup:

That is actually quite interesting... Not quite sure what to make of that, given ED's track record for timelines. What I would give to see their internal roadmap, as it sounds like a lot may be going on behind closed doors!

I'd also like ED to tell us how long a piece of string is - to the nearest micron. Until modules reach the stage where it is almost entire can they say with any amount of certainty when it will be released - just like you can only determine the precise length of a piece of string in the National Physical Laboratory, and even then, they'll never give a precise length (temperature, accuracy of measurement, accuracy of the ruler, string tension humidity and any number of other factors all effect how long it will be at any particular time).

On topic: I think ED has been catching up to all the planed stuff for years. All those things that are now being finally released. On top of that they are constantly updating, refining and polishing the stuff that we already have. I wouldn't expect any major news at least until 2.0 is out of alfa/beta stage so they can catch their breath a bit.

Keep your eyes on the forums, I know they want to update us soon, might not be exactly what you are looking for, but maybe give you a better idea of how they expect the next year or so to shape up.
