VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants
I dunno but I like what I see without MSAA for now, but I may turn it back on later, who knows. VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants
My setup is low-med, clarity is important to me while saw tooth is not a major issue, for playing. I mean the Q2 must have a GPU inside as its standalone. I guess its used for the decoding of link signal but maybe there is a little left for AA... Im surprised you NOW turn off MSAA, in any case you will need more. P.D: i have V33 too Yeah, I was going to experiment with adding MFAA in Nvidia control panel on top of DCS MSAA. I have tried this before and the effect is very very minimal, but might just take the edge off the extra sparkles. VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants
To be clear, I do notice the edge of the cockpit against the sky is smoother when DCS MSAA is on. But I refrain myself from changing it using nVidia CP for the reason of being lazy. VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants -- this is how I fly. To me it seems very similar results. Of course it's good it's natively added in oculus now! I am answering it here: the nice thing about sharpening in V33 is that it does not consume any processing power of the host computer. I dunno if it is the latest OB or it is the V33, DCS runs slightly better. I am at full 80 fps in the F/A-18C 2 vs 2 Fox 2 mission at NTTR map. 2 VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants -- this is how I fly. draconus
Well, V33 is just Oculus software version, so it works with Rift S but the benefits of Link sharpening do not apply because Rift S does not use Oculus Link. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX3060 Rift S T16000M TWCS TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria

Enduro14
Rift s doesn't need more sharpening anyway, its very clear on text as is and the Jaggies in game currently would only get worse. sniperpr1
Hello, I just installed the Oculus Rift S on my computer, but have no idea how to make it work with DCS. Noting I do makes the Rift S show the simulator in the screens. In fact, the only thing I can see is the external image in the room I'm at. Can someone point me in the right direction? Install Oculus software. 2. Connect the device and go through config. You also have to go to options > general tab and allow unknown sources. 3. When all set and Oculus app is running go to DCS, options, VR and enable VR headset... what Enduro14 said. 4. After DCS restart it should run in VR mode, you'll see mirror image on monitor and you can play when you put the gogles on. Unknown sources in the Oculus software must be set to on. In DCS settings under the VR tab, "Enable Virtual Reality Headset" must be ticked After you have done that, you need to restart DCS to make the switch to VR mode. That's all.
