Well, since it wasn't available, at all, before the sale, it certainly wasn't likely to be included in the sale.

Only 30 percent, sadly. According to Matt Wagner it won't change (unlike last year).

I do not want to buy the whole FC3 for 25€, so it's F-15C or Su-27 for me sadly...

Best regards,

Brett

True. I am not pretending but I was expecting 50% on many modules for the summer sale

I am a little confused and new to DCS World. I decided to go with the standalone version instead of steam cause I thought I read some modules are not available on steam and also the updates come out first on standalone etc.

Can you buy steam modules and use them on the standalone version of DCS world using the cd-key? If so, does it only work from steam to standalone and not the other way around? (Meaning you can't use standalone codes to unlock steam modules?)

It's sort of confusing.. I want to get the Fallen Cliffs 3 module cause I thought it would be the best to give me a variety of planes to use and then after, maybe a heli. So it would be nice to take advantage of the steam sale to get a module and use on the standalone if possible. :D

Wonderful! Am I also right that FC3 is the best package to get for a variety of planes? That's the only one I have seen so far that has more than one plane in it.

FC3 if you want to fly planes and not need to have a 3 year instruction course on how to use the machine, yet can still appreciate the flight models and want to enjoy the "game" without being lost in the simulation.

Just IMO

Actually FC3 is the only package with multiple aircraft - but be aware that the FC3 modules don´t have clickable cockpits.

Also startup for example is simplified.

So I´d say it depends on what you are looking for.

That's not right, with the C-101, L-39 and the Gazelle you get multiple aircrafts, too.

I should have written multiple different aircraft - with the C-101 and L-39 you get different versions of the same aircraft - and also these are sold as one module and not as package like FC3.

Nothing can beat FC3 for multiple jets. If you're new that's the one I'd recommend.

Well, now come the confusion still can't decide between WW2 plane or MiG-21....jeeez

Can't help but echo the thoughts of some of the previous posters. Was really hoping for some 50-70% sales here - last year I picked up 4 modules in total because of good sales. This year it looks like I'll only be getting 1.

My tactic is wait until the last day of the Steam Summer sale and if they're still sitting at 30% maybe get one of them. By no means am I or anyone else here ungrateful for the sale, I just feel the old ways of 70% off flash sales was a much better way of doing business.
