And since I've actually contributed to this flight sim I think that I can vent a little now and then....:sly: I can't it stand when beta testers come into the forums and play like there all knowing and above the frey... :D So allow me to do this occasionaly, OK, Thank You Not only have I never acted all knowing, or above anything, but dont let your ego think I was directing my comment only at you. The flight sim community is far too small and underfunded for them to be getting as much grief as they get. This isnt WoW with millions of dollars invested. Most of you probably dont remember your wifes birthday or your anniversary, yet bitch about an underfunded software company missing a release date they have said is just an estimate. Ever get your car repaired and had that estimate missed? At least then it actually hits your pocket. XSI missing an estimated release date, does what? What's even worse is that they quickly close and ban anyone who slams their so called "effort". Fighter ops is such a worthless venture and I admit that I'll buy it if it ever comes out but I'm pretty sure that it's just a pipe dream. Kuky Posted May 17, 2011 Share Posted May 17, 2011 if a game is 12 years in the making the developers should be able to see in the future and predict what hardware and software possibilities will be available so they can plan in advance.. otherwise by the time they finish it it's obsolete already... unless they really over-do it (I remember LockOn ran like sh*t first time I installed it and same is for IL-2 CoD) which is obviously also possible :D No longer active in DCS...
