The only items not working are:

VP-Flags - the three flags edm

VP-KDP SINGLE - The old Control Tower without a base

Thanks again for updating this Mod to make it compatible with DCS 2.5.5 ... may I suggest that you update the download file that is currently at VirPil's website, https://virpil.com/en/news/58-vpc-airfield-equipment-dlya-dcs-world, so that new users dont get the old version.

Ohh ... that would be so nice, I'm not playing much MP at the moment, but for many people the IC compliance is a big deal :)

 

and you are welcome, I hadn't realized how important your Mod was for me until I thought we had lost it .. I should have contributed to its development long ago.

I don't see a .zip or .rar file there. So, I select the 22 files and select Download. It says "Preparing Download - Zipping 22 files.". But this just has an hourglass and never get's zipped or downloaded. I waited over 10 minutes.

Just click on the main folder and select download. It took a few minutes to zip.

I had the same trouble with Internet Explorer ... re-tried with Google Chrome and worked first try.

Hmm .. Probably this object was there but now I can't find it. What is your version of the mod?

Voc, it was from your very first version of the Mod, its just the Larger old control tower but without the base, chairs, ground base etc, its really useful in tight spaces.

Oh, you are right ... I hadn't tested it at night, it must be another effect of DCS 2.5.5 .. the lights work on 2.5.4; but dont illuminate on the new version :(

 

When we went from DCS 1.5 to 2.0 the light on this Mod changed and now were less bright than on 1.5 ... but they were still useable.

 

Now, up to 2.5.4 the light work, but on 2.5.5 they dont illuminate at all ... I hope that it can be fixed, but I've no idea what may be causing this :(

Only a Mod's original author can update it, as the original 3D files are needed ... the files currently on Upuaut's Mod are DCS-processed versions of the originals, so you cant edit those.

I reached out to Upuaut, but no reply yet.

 

OK, but we have to keep in mind that a Modder's work is completely voluntary and he could have developed the Mod some years ago but today he may not have the free time needed to do these fixes, or he could have lost the original files, or he could have abandoned the DCS hobby ...

 

... let's hope that is not the case, but his profile shows that he hasnt connected to the Forum on the last couple of months, so it could be a while before he responds :(
