No Normandy DLC?

Hi,

I updated to latest build 2.1.0.5677 but I cannot find Normandy map in terrain DLC, I bought both unit pack and terrain? anyone else have this problem?

You tried to download Normandy via cmd and still no there?

 

open Command prompt and navigate to DCS World 2/bin -folder and run:

 

dcs_updater.exe install NORMANDY_terrain

Hi Custer I have not even been able to update to the latest version... when I start 2.05 the updater flashes momentarily and then the game launches and it goes straight to the splash screen. Please let me know if you get it resolved.

Looks to be working, it is now downloading something that is 4 GIGs.

Try and launch it as Administrator

Just done a repair and it's downloading now.... I'm also using Skates launcher thingy that he made..

If you've purchased the map/WW2 assets pack this should be a slick download,we shouldn't have to download third party software to get it,come on ED what's going on?

I hear what you're saying and I feel your pain, but remember this is an early alpha release that they are giving us access to. So I always expect bumps here and there along the route until official release. I bitch and moan about it with the rest of them but I try not to in the forums. ;) Hopefully I'll find out soon how she looks. Only 13% left to go!

 

Oh, and to be honest, I really prefer using Skate Zilla's excellent utility! It is so much easier having just one place to go to update all installs- I have the alpha, beta and official release versions all on my drive.

@ Justificus......Where else would one complain/mention to ED about modules such as maps not being available to download then,if you don't do it in the forum ?......I'm curious.

My map and assets pack never did show up for me in the Module Manager , ended up using SkateZilla's excellent GUI utility which got them for me.

The map is an alpha release. The module manager is not.

The map is an alpha release. The module manager is not.

 

4 hours to download and install 2.1 update. I can not install Normandy or the Asserts Pack which I have purchased. Can this be addressed please?

same issue here... I downloaded 14 giga for 2.1 alpha and on the main menu, on bottom icons, I saw the one with Normandy + buy button !!! ( I have both Map + assets pack).

 

what's wrong???

You have to force install

This fixed it for me, ED should probably make it a sticky or something = less digging required for others.

This worked. Using this:

another ~6.5gb's

 

Both are downloading. I guess another few hours. Thanks

Do we know if this will be superseded by the Module manager in a few days or will this install stick? I guess running repair.exe would true up any mismatch files after ED gets their Pooh Pooh straight!
