Just a hotfix? They could've delayed today's release and combine it with an upcoming patch to make it look like a patch proper rather than a hotfix, and folks would then have whined about there having been no patch this Wednesday. Damned if you do, damned if you don't

I suspect... well.. no I KNOW they had a lot of issues with the patch and that's why we didn't get one last week. I am glad to get a big bug fix patch as the amount of bugs were really getting out of control.... which I accept since I choose to run the open beta.

The update its more a hotfix as a patch.. :(

Largest list of hotfixes I've ever seen in that case.

Maybe you guys should browse over the changelog again.

Agreed. But the most priority for the community lies for the VR performance boost.

The first one was three weeks ago.....and the last two weeks ago.

Is it me, or did the lighting change. In particular the ambient light. It feels more blue and the shaded/ambient side feels darker than before?

- Using default gamma 2.2, and was the F-5E on PG I used.

No, it isn't you. And what's more, apart from looking spiffy it also feels better optimized now. I just ran a QM with a couple hundred units and it flowed like silk. A good patch if you ask me.

You'll find it elsewhere. Not saying more since I don't know if mentioning other sites here is OK. EDIT: Well it's there now.

Good, cause I didnt really like what I saw. Was what I call tired light. Too dark. Im sitting under a fully transparent canopy under a glaring sun in the middle east, yet it feels like Im inside a hangar (on the ambient side). Guessing its a HDR / tonemapping change.

Its when over water, that it appears darker than before - at least like I remember it. The Global Illumination stuff, all them small cubemaps we fly trough.

I doubt that a majority of the users have VR, and probably ED knows that, when its time for assigning priorities.

Not sure about that. I'm using gamma 1.8 and mornings and middays are as bright as before. Dawn and dusk however seem to have been changed for the better IMO. Can't put my finger on what exactly has been changed though, but something's different now...
