btw. What about a new feature movie about the KA-50 engine system model, i.e. engine startup until right conditions for start with the helo? Showing from in- and outside the cockpit.:)

Thanks for the update Wags, this is simplay great news. I rate your Valhalla campaign for JF-18 as some of the best sim-flying ever, so I certainly hope ( even demand! ) that you will make us some campaigns for BS :)

The only startup video I know of has the simplified "press one button and both engines start" sequence.

Wow, good news, if a 15 minutes video is the "simplified sequence", I don't want to imaginate How long is the startup sequence now LOL.

You might find this hard to believe - but that is a simplified early version of the engine startup ;)

I know this video. But it`s 1 year old and I think many things changed since at least AirTito is in the Beta Team.:) Would nice to see the new procedure and the blades moving on spool up.

Maybe what happens when you do the wrong things while start up.:D

Actualy what I've posted is pretty far from the full startup procedure, I just pointed the most essential moments that should be modeled. And yes, like britgliderpilot said, even now the startup procedure being fully accurate takes much less time than in this movie. Of course, for training purpose it can last much longer in case you have to explain what you're doing and what the gauges should indicate.

A stupid and IMHO not needed feature that I'm interested about: Is it possible to do an emergency erase of ABRIS data, like after a crash landing. I know, totally unneccessary in a sim, just curious.

Yes. You can simulate it by exploding a firecracker inside your pc :D

Why would you need that? It's so unrealistic. The Ka-50 has never been meant to operate in big groups. I'll leave the performance issue behind...;)

it could happen!:lol: of course I have no idea how the sim will play out online, but isn't it possible that someone might come up with a coop with 20 slots? as for that number being unrealistic, well OK. the idea of "clouds" of BS choppers descending on a convoy is a bit much. I was having a bit of fun with that idea. no need to rain on my litte parade, Tito. ;)
