I think the map needs to be expanded, especially with the Hornet and, later, the Tomcat being released. By extending it to Iraq, we can simulate no-fly zone enforcement operations during Operation Southern Watch.

No plans to expanded it more than it is now, the focus is the Gulf in particular Strait of Hormuz.

I was just saying it's something they should do, given the possibilities. I'm perfectly fine with the focus being on the Strait of Hormuz, especially given recent events.

Or rather, its going to be in the low detail area.

 

You can still fly over the area, its just not going to have any detail to it. (Well that's my understanding of it)

Well, if they're going to extend the map towards the north, they might as well go all the way and go for a merge with Caucasus if at all feasible.

I live in Dhahran just across the bridge so would love to see at least the Saudi Air Force Base added.

For the Iranian Tomcats, Khark island is a must... Alot of Iraqi incursions around that area were thwarted by patrolling Iranian Tomcats.
