Canopy glare seems to be fixed in 2.5.1OB - thank you very much! Now I can enjoy Mig-21BIS again :)

 

Did you try it at night? can you read the gauges?

DS on or off, it it still exits?

(I have "only" the release version of 2.5, for which 2.5.1 is not available yet).

Night instrument lightning has unfortunately not been fixed in 2.5.1, but hopefully we will get a fix soon, my hopes are high as it is now much more important, as deferred shading cannot be turned off any longer.

Either they fix it or one can switch that DS off.

This is unacceptable, and not only for the MIG-21!

Cockpit glass issue is fixed with today´s beta update.

I've noticed bunch of scratches showing up now on P-51's canopy in 2.5.1, amongst other reflection issues, so maybe there were some global shader tweaks, which kind of "fixed" the MiG canopy without your intervention.

i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

I took the MiG-21 for a spin and it now looks kinda like the glass texture is missing completely. At least in VR. Odd if no changes were made by the team included in the last update.

So the clearer glass seems to only be in 2.5 beta.

not in 2.5. which is unfortunate because the ACG server has moved from 2.5beta to 2.5 so it's player multiplayer with blinders on again.

Next OB update is mostly 3D and Textures. Nothing stopping people from copying them to the 2.5 Release version )
