Hi,

 

We've just flown a sortie, and it looks like the SADL system isn't working? We all had JTRS enabled, and were all part of the same Group ID, but we had no TAD indications of the other aircraft or SPI data.

 

Have we missed something or is this new? Always worked before...

Can confirm, it's broken in single and Multi-player.

I wonder if in fixing SADL, they will revise taskings between aircraft so that elevation data will be transmitted in feet and not meters. At least, that seems to be the problem with elevation data on taskings.

Well now I can see my wingmen on the sadl and I wasn't able to before. I haven't specifically assigned them any targets I've been using the general attack commands.

Yep, Data Link in the A10C does not work anymore. Just finished Tactical Training Mission one and when the JTAC sent me a target, it never showed up. Every Time. Had to punch the coords into the CDU.

Yea that can be a handful but I'm past that misison and the next few will have you entering coordinates anyway. I'm stuck on the csar day misison..can't seem to comeplete it at all. Wish someone had a video with some commentary about how to go about doing it. Would really like to finish this tactical campaign.

Here, SADL is intermittent.

 

Other A-10s come and go or they pop in at the right place on the TAD but then you fly past their marker despite the fact they're still a half mile ahead of you.

 

Definitely not fixed to proper operation.

Maybe we have to wait f/a-18 release, then I hope they take some time to watch behind and fix a-10 and ka-50.

 

P.S. Do a-10c and ka-50 datalink work in 2.5 release version?

 

P.P.S.S. This 2.5.2 seems to me another little step forward according to night visibility.

I'm guessing it works in 2.5 stable. I've always been on the beta branch seeing how I'm waiting for the hornet. No idea if they will push another update with the release of the hornet Wednesday. I doubt it but I sure hope they do go back and fix the data link. It's really useful in the maple flag tactical campaign misisons for your wingmen which I haven't been able to pass the one misison I'm on since the data link is broken.

It doesn’t work in DCS 2.5 stable either.

 

I send a ticket regardong this issue for 2.5.2 OB and recieved an answer that it was beta.

I then send a ticket for the same issue with 2.5 stable and got the answer it had been fixed in the beta.

So kind of running round in circles

It has been reported both via ticket system and in the forum, but no feedback so far !

KA-50 was fixed as far as I am aware.
