Hi All,

I know the replay track system is broken. Seems like if you change the view or fast forward, the track goes chaotic and it always end up with my plane crashing. My missions tend to be long especially if I'm struggling to land. I don't have the patience or time to spend another 45 mins to an hour just to watch the end of my mission to see my carrier landing attempts. So is there a work-around for watching replays successfully without having to watch them full length?

Thank in advance!

Chopping down .trk files would be very interesting indeed, say saving an arbitrary portion of time.

As for corrupted/unreliable .trk files, I've not encountered that yet, I've accelerated files to a silly amount to the point they've started skipping chunks of time, and yet on selecting 1:1 time they've displayed what was occurring at the time faithfully, or appeared to.

How do you record from a vantage point on the carrier?

My analysis is concise and immediate.

One day we will have an AI LSO that will not only talk us down but grade us. Be sure. Two more weeks.

Well there are

1. How aligned I was

2. How hard I landed

3. Which wire I managed to catch

4. Why I missed the wire (worst case scenario)

If you die on carrier landings you are doing it wrong.

Right now for me the analysis is pretty simple

25% too low, dead

25% too high, go around

25% catch

25% exhausted from the 50% dead or go around, therefore land on an airfield ;)

Well, there are times when I feel like im on a good approach but I dont catch a wire. Those are the times Im needing a replay to see what actually happened.

Is there fish in the cockpit?

Did it end up going direct in the hangar without stopping on the deck?

Can the jet be used again?

2 Nos to the first and a yest to the third means it's probably an OK landing. But it's also something I've only ever managed to do the once with the Xbone controller.
