Limited flares?

I watched some videos and read about, but I don't know how to do it, i have only 15 flares

Would someone, please, explain how to do this?

Chaff : 30

Flare : 15

Chaff : 60

Flare : 30

I modifiy it, so i have now 60 flares and 0 chaffs, but i can use only 30 flares, instead 60

Is this a bug, maybe ?

I've noticed on the belly of the hornet four dispensers with 30 slots in each,

 

not sure why I'm limited to loading 40 chaff and 40 flares...

I think the dispenser is similar to the one the F5 has, 1 flare uses the same space 2 chaff would use.

If you say you can only use the half, do you mean that only half of the flares is loaded (confirm in the EW page) or that you cannot, say if you load 30 flares, press 15 times and you are out of flares?

Since most of the early guides on the countermeasures suggest using bypass mode, I'll mention that in that mode you use 2 every time you push the button.

The Hornet drops 2 flares per press I think, so yeah, if you have 30 flares, you have 15 flare presses.

Where did anyone of the team say this? After quite some update, nothing has changed yet - I suppose this wouldn't take much time at all.

You can set your own programs on 1 and 5 to use only 1 chaff or 1 flare and still have a button for each like you have now.

You can in dcs also if you create a program that drops 1 flare. But I think most people just put it in bypass mode. And then it drops 2 at a time.
