Do you mean, using this mod... :thumbup: Without this mod , only in supersampling 1.0 and MSAA off... :music_whistling:

Ok, I just updated and I'm getting the following error on start up. It seems related to this mod. If I disable it in ovgme the sim loads as normal.

Any ideas? Thanks

With the new version I'm having difficulty with the mask. ALthough I set the MASKSIZE to 0.925f I still can see in the corner of my eyes moving frames, especially when moving my head.

This was not the case with the first version where a MASKSIZE set to 0.725f was enough to get rid of this effect.

Anybody having the same problem?

 

Same issue here. I used 0.65 in the first version, but I'm up to 0.8 and still seeing the frame.

Ok, after the new download I don't get the error message but dcs just hangs on the loading page and the menu doesn't load up. Again, works no problem without it.

 

 

EDIT Just thinking, it'll prob take 10 mins to recompile everything won't it? I''l wait and try again

In the first run of the Simulator and the first mission (for each mp) the load tacks more than usual since the Mod load all the taxtur for the first time.

Its not a “bug” just need to wait more than usual.

What does that mean? Is this the Oculus developers? What is the reference to 'drop in performance' relating to? DCS or Oculus?

Yes.In last update VR-mod works very good!!!

but at first necessary delete

C:\Users\ЯЯЯ\Saved Games\DCS\fxo

and

C:\Users\ЯЯЯ\Saved Games\DCS\metashaders2

and

I:\GAMES\DCS World\Mods\terrains\Caucasus\misc\metacache\dcs

I:\GAMES\DCS World\Mods\terrains\Normandy\misc\metacache\dcs

I:\GAMES\DCS World\Mods\terrains\Nevada\misc\metacache\dcs

I:\GAMES\DCS World\Mods\terrains\Persian\misc\metacache\dcs

Activate mod

Run DCS and wait 5-10 min in firt start (new shaders generations)

It is possible to obtain a "light" version of this mod ?. for example to recover the reflections and brightness of the sun in the canopy?

 

Or is this essential to maintain performance???

I installed the newest version in the latest OB and do not get a Integrity check fail....my shield stays green in the MP lobby. If you have a red shield can you click on it then screen shot the menu that pops up that lists the files that fail the integrity check.

Well you might get a green shield BEFOR you enter a server, but you will get kicked and get a red shield after you tried to join a IC-Protected server :(

No. Its happening in the F18 where it didnt happen prior to installing the mod.
