I've talked with both Goya and Konny via PM's. Goya gave me some good insight on previous exercises. :smilewink:

As soon as you guys know how many pilots you want to dedicate let me know.

The code is probaly in Russian anyway.

UPDATE:

This exercise will kick off at 1400 Zulu on 26 May 2007.

Squad leaders:

I will need final numbers from you on how many pilots will be attending. Ensure you include with this information what aircraft you are requesting. I will make all possible efforts to honor your requests.

I need all requests by 0000 Zulu on 19 May 2007.

This is so I have time to do the mission building. If you get your requests to me after this date, I can’t make any promises on including your squad in the first mission.

Also, I would like to speak to all squad leaders via TS before the mission kicks off. This is so I can disseminate information rapidly and answer any questions. I will be posting further information about this later on.

The code is probaly in Russian anyway.

As our squad flies both, eastern and western airplanes, would we join either blue and red side?

Fudd, please post a time and TS IP that squadron leaders should be present to coordinate.

I'll give more information about that in a few days. I'm in Alaska on business for the next week so It wont be before the 19th.

As our squad flies both, eastern and western airplanes, would we join either blue and red side?

It depends, submit a request to me via PM and I will take it from there.

I suggest we use the mission already in place on the 169th Dedicated. Everyone is familiar with it. It can be practiced at any time with guaranteed oposition.

For the match it could be set over a time period, passworded and full real settings. The log can be parsed through the 169th Statistics board to determine a winner.

Fine by me. Also 504 have a spare server that can be used just for squad matches.

169th will let someone else make the mission. Sounds a bit too complicated.

We have a spare server that can be used just for squad matches? Wow! I didn't know that we have a 3rd one!

Already PM'd Fudd about the option..

You mean to tell me you don't even know how many servers you got?

Just kidding mate!;)

BUMP!!!!

A reminder: You have until the 0000 Zulu on May 19th to get your numbers to me.

There will be a completely new mission created for this exercise. This won't be something that anyone has flown before on any of the public servers. Might as well fly s/p if you're gonna fly a "rehearsed" mission.

Sounds fair!

are you guys doing it like the REAL red flag where a missle lock counts as a kill.

do you realize how crazy that is? like we obviously dont play this sim very realistically because we lock onto each other as often as we blink.

Actually in real RED FLAG there's a computer that crunches some numbers, rolls a die, and tells you if you've been killed when the other guy pulls the trigger.

Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D

I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
