crash in mission editor

After the last 2.5.3.21016 Open Beta update, the game crash for nothing using mission editor!

same here. a little clicking the buttons in ME and dcs crashes right away...

 

(added 3 crash logs... but could provide a lot more...:D)

I solved it temporarily by disabling the 2D visualization of the icons with help to a forum user.

nope, crashed for me without 2D "model view", in payload editor;

new unsaved mission, new F/A-18C, new payload

altough:

Exactly the same for me crashes in the mission editor, can be anywhere, loadout screen placing units, unable to create any mission.

Still crash even for me but only in payload editor.

Just now installed the 2.5.3.21153 update and I still can't use the NTTR or the PG. When I try to create a new ME mission, CTD on NTTR and PG. So, I'l keep waiting for a fix but, thanks anyway, ED.

hello , last fix don't work if you do not delete ( or rename) your saved games /DCS OPENBETA folder .

 

I do this and now i can edit missions !!!

 

Question to BigNewy :

I read in one of the post that you asked a user if one of its parameters was

in Low setting . DCS would have trouble working properly with minimum settings (for computers a few years old) ?

I myself have a 4 year old PC with a GTX 970. after this hotfix, I changed my settings by choosing no minimum. I noticed that the mission editor is doing much more quickly now. I do not know if it's due to the erasure of my saved folder (full of missions) or if it's because I changed the settings ....
