Agreed! It's great to have it and my squad is already adopting it instead of the L-39. Too bad it released with the start of the winter sale. I'd rather see fresh purchases going for full price to help out Aviodev more.

I am Very excited to try it, just bought it today

Just bought the C-101 too. She's a beauty. No time to really learn her just yet, but will still do the control mappings, manual perusals and what have you today. Thank you Aviodev, looking forward to oodles of light CAS fun with her in the near future

The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

you can allways buy two :)

I actually will be. I have it already and promised to get a second one to fly with my dad online when they release multicrew. So I'm going to get one for him and one for someone in my squad who wouldn't buy ut otherwise.

Maybe. But 50% off may entice some people who are trainer shy because of the recent debacle.

Just noticed that the CC version does not have a TACAN receiver :(

Aviodev must be commended for making the two versions so true to the original, as the CC not only has armament, but also new radios, new flight director, even the audio volume panel is different than the EB's

But it does have ADF which the EB doesn't. That will make it good for the Caucasus map which has tons of NDBs. Edited by kontiuka

Just to add, my thanks Aviodev.

I really only bought the C101 on a whim. Already have just about every other aircraft in game and was struggling to see the point to a trainer.

Either way, have learned how to cold start, fly and use the weapons and I'm having a real blast in it. It might well be very underpowered and a bit basic from a capability perspective (hardly unexpected as that was it's design brief), but it's really great fun to fly and a pleasure to use well.

Hoping at some point to be able to share the aircraft with another pilot.

So, massive thumbs up from me!
