M1Combat
4:05 - Just the tip... First completed lap. I think there's a 3:45 in there at least. Maybe more. I kinda got behind the airframe for a bit in that last chicane. I was getting nervous because the gates were still beeping :). M1Combat
After thinking about it I'm thinking even ~3:20 is doable... my brake points were darn near random (super uninformed at least :) ) and I haven't spent any time at all working on early throttle application so... I think there's a lot more time in it... Tom Kazansky
4:05 - Just the tip... do you have a track-file/video for this? When I fly 100% of the time with full afterburner and ignore most of the gates I still need 3:00 min for one run. ;) Edited January 5, 2019 by Tom Kazansky

SonofEil
"Boo, Mission Failed" yourself, Wags!:) 1st: course familiarization 2nd: busted gate, the super low tricky one towards the end. 3rd: 5m25s Thanks Wags, the course is fun as hell. Haven't played with my stick like that since high school!:joystick: I really don't see anyone doing this in the mid 3's. Lower to mid 4's, yeah, but if I see people posting anything lower than 4 minutes I'm gonna need to see some pretty convincing proof. i7 7700K @5.0, 1080Ti, 32GB DDR4, HMD Odyssey, TM WH, Crosswind Rudder... Tom Kazansky
Hey Wags, you pushed an old man to his limits. River Run Challenge is so much fun to fly. I have a 4:44 min now without midair fuel dump ;) (see attached track) I won't get too much faster, so I thank you for the fun Wags and hope for more of those challenges. (I will keep your mission's file however for the F-14A/B and of course the F-16C! Can't wait to push them thru the gates.)FA-18C River Run 003 (4.44 min).trk Edited January 8, 2019 by Tom Kazansky

sopebird
DCS F/A-18C River Run 3:45 Hi guys, After some practice, my best record yet reached 3:45, which I'd like to share with you. It will definitely won't be the best record in the world. As you can see in my video, lots of turning and accelerating points can still be improved. I think with more practice and more tricks, it could reach around 3:30. Waiting for someone faster! But it is already fast enough to enjoy the beauty of hornet low level flight. My control of hornet improved significantly after using this instant action for practice. Regards Sopebird
