Since I have the Odyssey already I don't think I would go to the odyssey +. I also have the first rift. I have astigmatism as well but only in my right eye.

I used to think things were blurry in both headsets until I wore my contacts and then the odyssey was the winner in resolution. Now I just got prescription lense adapter for it.

I will wait for reviews on rift S and reverb.

Yeah, I think there's a diminishing return there. Will post the Reverb as compared to CV1 and P5K+

Has there be any mention of a prescription lens holder for the Reverb?

I guess the usual vendors would make it sooner or later. But because I knew I was going to go from HMD to HMD, I got the goggles instead. They are very flat so there's no danger of scratching the lens. I've used it with CV1, Odyssey, and now P5K+. If you plan on upgrading/changing you HMD, I think it's a better way to go. BTW, the goggles sit very close to your eyes. I didn't like it so much, so I added a little foam block over the bridge. Worked great.

One of the things I love about the Vive Pro is that I can comfortably wear my prescription glasses with it. I couldn’t do that when I had the Rift CV1.

Also, the clarity is much greater than the O+ as Samsung use a technique to reduce SDE that blurs the image.

HP have already stated that UK (and I guess rest of Europe) launch will not be for some time yet.

That's a shame because the work is already done for the european market (english/french packaging).

Well i had a phone call with HP. :D

I asked him where the HP reverb is in the store?

He didn't know. The answer was that there is no communication with the mothercompany about new products.

The only thing he could tell me that they wait for shipments and when the products are available it comes on the webstore.

Well, so when it comes, i should it have in 1 day. :D We'll see.. :D

‘Mura Effect’

Supposedly, this ‘Mura effect’ really affects immersion which would be a major blow for DCS. Secondly, take anything HP U.K. or HP US sales says with a pinch of salt, the HP press rep Jim Christiansen says the May 6th launch is worldwide; however, it being 16:00 GMT and the fact no-one has the HMD on sale or even for pre-order fills me with gloom.

Yea that review didn't sound promising especially for DCS. But we would need to wait and see what people say who got it for DCS.

He also didn't mention anything about how it fairs on current gpu's and processors.
