BTW....who ever made the crew models etc...is it possible to move it and localise it to the taxiways?? Possibly... try to get the co-ordinates somehow of the place where a USER aircraft spawns in singleplayer on the taxiway and just a few meters away..place the crew that they start their canned animation and then maybe walk away in like 3 min or so (a 3 min animation to fit the 3 min startup time for aircraft) and then just disappear and let us go on our way.

 

NOw that would be freaking awsome.

following on from witchkings idea - i suggest the following -

 

once they have refuelled and rearmed the plane , and washed the windshield with a nice soft sponge - get them to line up alongside the runway - pump in an mp3 music track into the Lo game engine , and get the little dudes to dance along to the YMCA theme music with the appropriate actions :-)

One LITLE Question to this thema ;). Give it a way, to put a argbased controller to an Biped Animation in 3dsMax or would have to be provided this animation from hand :)?

Maybe better idea is to implement let say 3 separate crew members (one kind of signal guy and two different weapon guys) to vehicles section to get ability to plan their place of "birth" and set waypoints for walk. Some points can be set as action (i.e. standing in place for half a minute then giving signals for taxi out and salute). After that action he could walk to the next waypoint and taxi out other plane. With a signal guy it should be easy. Problem comes with weapon guys to get them exacly under the wings...

But that's how looks mission planning. So how it should be? You wanna add it to aircraft 3d model?

no...more like a scripted object (just remembered scripts are only going to be introduced in BS :p ) but, could it be done as a static object part of the map.

 

We can also have some people doing random fuel checks and servicing to static aircraft if Birdy can do it. That would be freaking yeah. :)
