Mule Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I wan't to take advantage of the summer sale. I have most of the modules but I have had my eye on either the Gazelle or the Mirage for quite some time. Two completely different things but I am seriously torn. I can't justify getting them both because of family holidays to finance but I am able to get one of them. Please help. Fighter Pilot Podcast.
BaD CrC Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Since you are in the UK, you can also fly the UK Gazelle! https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
Svsmokey Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I understand that the Gazelle is a blast , but very sensitive to control inputs . If you have a collective and cyclic , go for it . Otherwise the Mirage might be the better choice . This from a guy with neither:) 9700k @ stock , Aorus Pro Z390 wifi , 32gb 3200 mhz CL16 , 1tb EVO 970 , MSI RX 6800XT Gaming X TRIO , Seasonic Prime 850w Gold , Coolermaster H500m , Noctua NH-D15S , CH Pro throttle and T50CM2/WarBrD base on Foxxmounts , CH pedals , Reverb G2v2
Eihort Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 The Gazelle is.. incomplete. I'd definitely go for the Mirage. I own both.
BaD CrC Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Full disclosure by the way, I am totally biased for rotary wings. (only DCS modules for real pilots! :D) https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden

Rudel_chw Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 I have both, and must admit that I enjoy the Mirage a lot more, the thing I love the most is the content that there is for it .. the Module includes 10 training missions set on Caucasus ... plus the same 10 on Nevada; after the training you can do the included Campaign that has 13 more missions that start where the training ends. After the included contents has been flown, you can purchase the excelent Red Flag Campaign that Baltic Dragon edited for the Mirage and that includes 16 missions .. with it the Mirage has really a lot to offer to the player :) Cheers. Mule Posted July 4, 2019 Author Posted July 4, 2019 (edited) Surely the answer is BOTH. You know you want to... I wish. Counting every penny mate  Just had a couple of hours with this module. It's fantastic. The cockpit in VR is quality. I love this era of cold war jets. The old school digital readouts are a thing of beauty. Thanks for the recommendation and now some cheese and wine. Cheers!! Edited July 4, 2019 by Mule Fighter Pilot Podcast.

I know that we are all with limited budgets, but if you liked the aircraft, then perhaps you could also go with the Campaign as it is now at half price: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/campaigns/m-2000c_red_flag/ ... unless you only fly on Multiplayer :) Cheers. CybrSlydr Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 I don't have the Gazelle, but I do have the Mirage and it is my favorite module thus far. The plane is just an absolute joy to fly.
