BarTzi
Great work on the walleye so far! A small issue - when you start from the air the weapon works fine. When you take off from the ground you can't drop the weapon or get the camera feed to work. See the attached track for details.WALLEYE from ground .trk
sideshow
I was able to slew the camera, and get the AGM-62 Walleye locked on to targets, with and without the datalink pod, from a ground start aircraft. However, the weapon would not release. Put an air start jet in the same mission, and everything worked as advertised, to include weapon launch. fjacobsen
+1 Everything works, both with and without datalink. BUT - I cannot release the Walleye ! Note: This is in a mission where I take of from the Carrier. @Sideshow..What do You mean by: "Put an air start jet in the same mission," ? Player has to start airborne - or just add a simple AI jet as being airborne ? Kim Jong-un
Walleye parameters I cant get the walleye to release. Master arm on, WE not crossed out. Using the weapon release button. I have tested diving about the same as in Wags YT video. No success. I have tested wings leveled, no success. What is max range? What is min range? Clearly its an issue of me being stupid. Hopefully someone can tell me what iam doing wrong. Happy Friday! Edited October 18, 2019 by Kim Jong-un Supreme leader
ED Team NineLine Posted October 18, 2019 ED Team Share Posted October 18, 2019 hey guys it's known, it was working at one point, but something happened over different builds. CaptJodan
Having the same issue. Look forward to seeing who identifies what we're doing wrong. Followed Wags' video. Using the weapon without the pod.
dillon1991
Same cannot get the walleye to drop. Dont understand how this crap gets past their supposed bug testing they say they do before they release the update. I cant even get the thing to lock hardly ever either Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
CaptJodan
Yup, it's definitely an air-start vs ground start issue. I can confirm sideshow's results.
zK_RazOR
I'm doing the same as Waggs do in his video: - Start from the air; - MASTER ARM ON; - A/G ON; - WEDL twice; - Sensor on the Left DDI; - Uncaged; - TDC Depress; and when teorically I move the sensor to the target, nothing happens. as I don't fly much, how can I move the sensor (which commands in command list)? Did You press "Sensor control left" to make the left DDI SOI ? I suppose You have the AGM-62 video on the left DDI. With TDC Depressed pan the TV view to the target with the TDC up, down, left, right inputs. You need to get quite close to the intended target for the crosshairs to lock on. i7-10700K 3.8-5.1Ghz, 32GB RAM, RTX 4070 12GB, 1 x 1 TB SSD, 2 x 2TB SSD2 TB, 1 x 2 TBHDD 7200 RPM, Win10 Home 64bit, Meta Quest 3. Mule
No problems here. Remember to keep the TDC Depressed when you slew the seeker head. I love the datalink TV screen. So old school. ebabil
it is very nostalgic and beatiful bomb but it is very hard to see things with its tv monitor. other big problem is, after launching it, plane rolls very aggressively to other side. it is very very hard to keep it straight even by appliying huge amount of trim FC3 | UH-1 | Mi-8 | A-10C II | F/A-18 | Ka-50 III | F-14 | F-16 | AH-64 | Mi-24 | F-5 | F-15E| F-4| Tornado Persian Gulf | Nevada | Syria | NS-430 | Supercarrier // Wishlist: CH-53 | UH-60 Youtube MS FFB2 - TM Warthog - CH Pro Pedals - Trackir

mahuja
Hmm... now try walleyes and gbu12. Started in the air, released walleyes, landed, reloaded walleyes+dl13+litening+gbu12s. Dropped walleyes, can't release GBU12s.
Mule
It doesn't work when I start from the ground as others have already said. Also, I can release one Walleye and guide that onto target as advertised but when I select the 2nd one I can't uncage it and get no tv feed or sensor feed. It's a good idea to come into target with altitude hold on in the autopilot. After release and as expected it will bank a lot. Fighter Pilot Podcast. Drac
Does anyone have a link to an in the air mission with the Walleye? Don't expect much out of the seeker on the Walleye either, its nothing incredible, and its meant really for large targets with good contrast. Anyways, issues are reported and we are already testing fixes internally.
