What? Like the scene where you're walking in front of the trucks? Holy shhh...! I thought that was some clever camera movement script or edited footage or I don't know what ... wow! :) :thumbup:

 

Anyway it's just cool. Last sim I remember you could walk around in was JSF. That was meaningful in there, cause if you ejected over enemy territory and quit the game, the pilot was lost - and since you had a limited amount of pilots, you had to consider the hour long trek to friendly territory ... :)

I also used it when you see a bunch of solderis running "away" from the camera. I ejected nearby and started running, lol... :P

 

The view is a little high there though, the pilot isnt THAT tall. :D

But the "walking by the trucks" shot is his actual hight :)

In the SimHq discusssion of the article I asked Tom to poat info on the system BS ran on and what the performance was like. I'll passon his reply, unless osmeone beats me to it.

This is great to finaly be getting handson information on BS and DCS, for those who know what is this indicator/radar on the screen on the right side?I realize he is flying in Arcade mode but what is it?
