edineygomes Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 (edited) Where's the laser warning switch on the back of the new cockpit? With autostart the system boots but there is no key to turn it on manually. You can map on the joystick but there is no switch to turn it on in the cockpit. Edited February 20, 2020 by edineygomes
sora_061 Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 It is in the left of abris screen. It is more like a rivet than a switch. No switch is modelled for it I guess+
sora_061 Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Btw If you find the LWS Self Test button. (Lctrl+Lalt+N) Let me knw
kurtz667 Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 LWS power switch LWS power switch (left of the abris) is not rendered. Smokin Hole Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Hopefully Left-Cntl-N will work until we get the switch. A buddy used auto-start and that worked.
kurtz667 Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 Hopefully Left-Cntl-N will work until we get the switch. A buddy used auto-start and that worked. Yea, you can even still press the switch, it just not there visually Spoiler Modules: FC3, KA-50, MIG-21, F-18, F-14, UH-1H, Spitfire, F-5E, A-10c II, A-4E, SC, F-16, CA, M2000c, BF-109K-4, Mi-24P Terrains:Nevada, Persian gulf, Normandy + Asset pack, Syria PC setup:I7 8700k, 32g ram, m2 ssd, gtx 1080ti, Warthog TM, MFG crosswind, Playseat Air Force, Reverb G2
randomTOTEN Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 At least the key combination for the self test still works!
kurtz667 Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Found out today using the LWS self test that the LWS will only work on autostart or hotstart. The moment you press the LWS power switch or LCTRL + N the LWS will no longer work Spoiler Modules: FC3, KA-50, MIG-21, F-18, F-14, UH-1H, Spitfire, F-5E, A-10c II, A-4E, SC, F-16, CA, M2000c, BF-109K-4, Mi-24P Terrains:Nevada, Persian gulf, Normandy + Asset pack, Syria PC setup:I7 8700k, 32g ram, m2 ssd, gtx 1080ti, Warthog TM, MFG crosswind, Playseat Air Force, Reverb G2

Rhinozherous Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Hey guys this is known and should be fixed in the next update. Thanks for the report. Do you mean the missing LWS switch or the animation of Weapon Auto/Manual release button? Just curious if there is no LWS switch in the real KA50 and thats the reason for the missing switch? i7-14700KF 5.6GHz Water Cooled /// ZOTAC RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB /// 32GB RAM DDR5 /// Win11 /// SSDs only DCS - XP12 - MSFS2020
flanker0ne Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 Just in some Ka-50 variants (maybe prototype) the switch is located left oh the ABRIS SCOPRI DI PIU': https://www.amvi.it/joinus.php DISCORD COMBINEDOPS The Battle Planning Tool
Fakum Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 So knowing it is likely to be fixed in the next update, in the mean time, as i understand it, there is no way to really know if its on or not? Correct? Well the LWS self test should give you an indication if its on or not. Altough not 100 percent sure the test is reliable atm. I can't seem to find the switch or a button for the test anywhere in the cockpit, but the default key combo is Lctrl+Lalt+N Edited February 23, 2020 by kurtz667 Spoiler Modules: FC3, KA-50, MIG-21, F-18, F-14, UH-1H, Spitfire, F-5E, A-10c II, A-4E, SC, F-16, CA, M2000c, BF-109K-4, Mi-24P Terrains:Nevada, Persian gulf, Normandy + Asset pack, Syria PC setup:I7 8700k, 32g ram, m2 ssd, gtx 1080ti, Warthog TM, MFG crosswind, Playseat Air Force, Reverb G2

Murey2 Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 Hey guys this is known and should be fixed in the next update. Thanks for the report. So be fix do you mean returned to its old pos. or just modeling the switch at its current pos. left of the ABRIS? I don't understand why moving it from it's perfect old pos. to somewhere else?!
