L'importante non è stabilire se uno ha paura o meno, è saper convivere con la propria paura e non farsi condizionare dalla stessa. Ecco, il coraggio è questo, altrimenti non è più coraggio ma incoscienza.

Still persistent after yesterday's hotfix. No matter which laser mode the missile heads straight for the ground.

The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

I can confirm this issue as well. The Kh-25MLs are just falling to the ground after being fired as though the laser was not on at all.

Please attach a track replay showing the issue.

In my tests I can not reproduce.

Х-25МЛ теперь летят тока в землю. (Крайняя бета)

I came here to report the issue, as I'm getting inconsistent results in 2.5.6.52196 (in which this bug is meant to be fixed).

It's possible the issue is that I don't have the designate/range finder switch in the right position but I've never touched that switch before and the Kh-25L always worked.

However, I see that flankerOne said: 'autonomous and remote engagement modes'. Can I ask what this means? I didn't know there was more than one way to employ the weapon.

Apparently they unfixed it again...

It seems that if you lock a target the laser needs some cooldown-seconds. If you fire within that period the counter doesn't restart so it wil termintate after a few seconds. Something like that.

I also don't understand the russian text that appears after the first missile hit.

25 2.trk

25 1.trk

25 3.trk

MarcT-NL,

Your bug report is compounded by your incorrect use of the laser for the Kh-25ML. I needed some practice, but I was eventually able to take control of "25 1.trk" and strike both bunkers with the missiles. It does a weird lofting maneuver that is obviously not correct... but they both followed the guidance to the target. They're very finicky to use. :music_whistling:

EDIT: Another user reports that the loft is actually correct? I don't know...

I also don't understand the russian text that appears after the first missile hit.
Well, it's in the manual. I won't spoil it for you with the laser error, but I will tell you that "Пауза" is "Pause," and you need to let the laser (incorrectly used) cool down before the next use. Edited by randomTOTEN

Con confirm that the missile is actually working ok.
