DERacing Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 I see desk mounts on there... Im sure they have something else though. But those mounts... Hmmm. With that other sim 2020 coming soon, I almost bet it is something related to a Airbus or Boeing passenger jet more than fighters. Especially with the monitor setup they are showing. And the mounts look very wide to be for a trusty WH. zcaa0g Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 (edited) They're going out of their way to show civ aircraft. Maybe their first flight yoke and maybe throttle quadrant in preparation for the new MS Flight Simulator release this year. Edited June 16, 2020 by zcaa0g
wasizyayo Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 Sorry, Thursday. Not tomorrow. I don't see a control stick and throttle in that picture.
Supmua Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 FS2020 will be huge. I’m not surprised that TM would jump on this. In the meantime, the wait for a proper F-16 throttle continues. aniron Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 (edited) Leaked magazine scans says Airbus T16000M variant and new Airbus-style throttle, plus the desk mounts shown in the teaser. Edited June 17, 2020 by aniron
PL_Harpoon Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 Yeah, judging by the upcoming release of MSFS 2020 I too would bet on the civ gear. Which is fine for me cause just recently I've bought a new Warthog setup and would be sad to be just a few weeks too early with my purchase ;)
Eldur Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 The throttle unit doesn't seem to bad for the price tag given there to get some extra axes. I don't like the pots of my Saitek quadrants... and when I bought these, I decided to get them because they had a lot wider movement range than the CH quadrant, which increases performance... well, not so much when the pots spike after a while.
zcaa0g Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Seems like an odd choice. A non-specific yoke and non-specific throttle quad makes more sense imo.

randomTOTEN Posted June 18, 2020 Posted June 18, 2020 Leaked magazine scans says Airbus T16000M variant and new Airbus-style throttle, plus the desk mounts shown in the teaser. That leak was spot on. Personally, I was hopeful for a Viper throttle, but I figured we would see an announcement and a prototype like we did with the Hornet Grip. Kept my expectations as low as possible, and as such am pleasantly surprised by the throttle quadrant. Optional Airbus Detents, realistic Airbus engine controls...looks like working A/T Disc buttons and the reverser levers are buttons too? I can see some possibilities with this in civilian sims. Could be a good option for a cheap precise TQ for some.

Could be a good option for a cheap precise TQ for some. For civ flightsim, it's a pretty decent beginner's choice. I think the price is also right. I was hoping for a force feedback Yoke or something but it seems they're going after the mainstream this time. PC: 5800X3D/4090, 11700K/3090, 9900K/2080Ti. shu77 Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 I was pretty disappointed given how long its been since they released any kind of new product. BuzzU Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 Somehow an Airbus is not on my list of planes I want to fly. Is this the reason the Warthog got sucker punched and is out of stock? btw..Does an Airbus need a trigger? Buzz
Davee Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 I wanted a Hornet throttle, but I have the Winwing Hornet HOTAS now, so I would like and F-16 throttle. I picked up a rumor that Winwing are making an F-16 grip to fit on the existing throttle? Would be interesting.

BuzzU Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 Is it for retired fighter pilots to feel at home in the Airbus? Buzz
