Eisprinzessin Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 Hi there! If i save my flown mission to watch it again, is it possible to "rewind back" while watching? For example i bomb something, and i dont find the possibility to rewind back to watch the bombing run from different perspectives... Any help? Hope it was understandable... Willie Nelson Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 No unfortunately. One of the distinct disadvantages of the current platform. i7700k OC to 4.8GHz with Noctua NH-U14S (fan) with AORUS RTX2080ti 11GB Waterforce. 32GDDR, Warthog HOTAS and Saitek rudders. HP Reverb.
Tom Kazansky Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 (edited) And keep in mind that every update of DCS has the potential to make your saved track useless because tracks only save control events and not the whole situation. Future versions may interpret those events differently. Means: you can't save tracks forever if you want them to work correctly. Happened to me more than once. Edited July 29, 2020 by Tom Kazansky
schurem Posted July 29, 2020 Posted July 29, 2020 However, if you use tacview, you will have a record of telemetry instead of a rerun of the simulation. I have had Ai do different things than originally in a DCS track. That won't ever happen with tacview. Not a dumb question at all mate. Welcome aboard! I5 9600KF, 32GB, 3080ti, G2, PointCTRL

You can't replay while watching, but you can replay repeatedly and watch it from different perspectives each time, or jump into the replay and fly it yourself. .. ASUS 2600K 3.8. P8Z68-V. dundun92 Posted July 30, 2020 Posted July 30, 2020 Agreed. But you can speed it up by using time compression. Yep the same time compression that just further speeds up track corruption :( Eagle Enthusiast, Fresco Fan. Patiently waiting for the F-15E. Clicky F-15C when?
