When is this available in the EU again ?
@UIV

Every given moment there are 2 containers on the way to Europe. We're working towards having permanent stock in the EU so our dealer is no longer dependent on shipments. Hopefully, it is a couple of months away. In the meantime, please talk to the dealer. He knows the cargo schedule better than we at the HQ.

recently purchased for my on-the-go-gaming (lapotp). I can only highly recommend this gem. Works like charm, 3 sets of springs, spare parts.... Only one note - It would be realy great, if you would include braided USB cable, at least for the premium version. Would pay more gladly.

Hi!

Looks very nice. At the moment I have a Hotas Warthog but I have serious problems with mi my wrist.  The springs are hard and pain chronic is here. Any one who has it could tell me if is more comfortable and lightweight?.
many years  go, I had a CH combat stick and was very very comfortable.
If any one of you know about this , please answer my wrist is painfull...
Thanks a lot

I have the premium one it came with 3 sets of springs. The default is the #20, in my opinion it is perfect but you can install the included #10 wich is even less strong but to be honest i found that way too soft. #10 to me has less resitance than my worn out 13 year old Logitech 3d. I think you would be safe even on the #20.

I just upgraded to the premium version from the T16000M stick. Holy crap what a difference, I'm honestly blown away. Looking forward to the throttle being released now 🙂

Hello folks! Hope that everybody is ok in this crazy new world!

So I just received my VKB Gladiator NXT Premium a few days ago switching from a T16000m. I’m new in DCS and I’d like to ask if anyone can share your profile for the F/A-18C. I’ve searched for a profile in the user’s forums but couldn’t find a good one. If anyone could share it would be nice!

Thanks for the help and I have to say thanks for VKB it’s a very nice joystick.

Hey guys - I love my Gladiator NXT - such great value and price ; As I like to fly with the stick central, inbetween legs , is there a way to slant / turn / twist the grip to a constant, ergonomically pleasing angle ? ( I do not need the rudder twist function)

The premium version comes with an analog stick installed in that position. Which can be replaced with the included 4 way only stick.

I know to activate/deactivate the analog stick you need to push click.

So by pushing the mini stick it then functions as a hat switch?  If so, does it work well as a hat or do you need to replace the mini stick with the included hat switch anyway?

I honestly can't recall if it then functions as a hat, I swapped mine out immediately upon arrival. If it does, seems it would function like an 8 way hat though.

This, unfortunately, is not possible. Position of the grip in relation to the base can't be changed.

Thanks! Bummer, but no big deal.

Ok.  I just wanted to avoid tearing the whole stick apart to install the hat switch if the mini stick works fine as a hat.

I use the ministick mostly as a 4way hat (with the exception of the Viggen), and it's perfectly fine. No need to open the stick and put in the replacement imo.

Thanks.  Can you clarify whether the mini stick or hat function is default?

I think it's the hat? I'm not sure because switching is so easy I don't pay attention to it, and I just do it once before getting in the Viggen's cockpit (or don't do it at all with other modules). There isn't a default really, you just press the stick/hat down to toggle between the two, and there's a small red light that turns on and off depending on what mode you're in.

The POV function is default. Pressing the center button swaps it into axes mode (indicated by the small red LED turning on).

Thanks.  According to VKB, changing modes between hat and stick requires a long press of the switch while a short press acts like a regular button press.  Correct?

Uh, I didn't know. Trying it now on my stick (without running DCS or anything), that doesn't seem to be the case, but I also didn't mess with any driver or VKB software, just plugged the stick in and that was it. Also, I don't really feel like an extra push button would be useful, between my T16000m throttle, the Gladiator, an extra button box and a tablet I'm pretty much set.

Correct on the long press. I don't think though a short press yields a button press one can assign to something for that hat.

At least that is how it is on the MCG Pro and MCG Ultimate grips.

By default, the center push button of the ministick is just swapping modes (from POV to axes and back) with a short click. This function could be changed in the native software so a short click would be a button (regular button, which could get assigned in game) and a long click would do the POV-to-axes swap. Original function is Button Alt and the new function is TempoB.

Yeah, except you know crap quality control, and horrible product support. Sorry after having the tear down my VKB NXT, and glue the magnet inplace myself, and giving a how to was they're solution, I won't be buying any VKB products ever again. They also owe me $31. That's my price as and A&P mechanic. They haven't pulled their inventory, haven't sent out replacement sticks, with prepaid postage to send the defective one back in. No that just expect the user to repair a known defect.
