Raisuli Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 I'm not entirely sure where this belongs, but on the I-16 instant action dogfight mission Han Solo's wings, or parts of them, vanish. They're not gone, just not visible. Took a couple screenshots, but I sort of shut off the game machine before I copied them off. If it's just me, great. I can still shoot him down even if part of the wing looks like it was painted green and matched the green-screen background against which the world was superimposed... Otherwise I'll add the screenshots tomorrow.
amazingme Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 I've also noticed some missing parts of a 109's wing in multiplayer. Rolds Posted August 24, 2020 Posted August 24, 2020 Same, usually not the entire wing but sections will not render, I cannot tell if it is because these sections have been damaged and perhaps are missing a damaged state texture or something.
Raisuli Posted August 24, 2020 Author Posted August 24, 2020 They blink in and out, with sky and earth behind, but as Rolds suggested only after they got pinged a few times. There didn't appear to be any missing parts before the shooting started.
Raisuli Posted October 1, 2020 Author Posted October 1, 2020 Still happening as of Sept 6 on open beta Still happening as of Sept 30 as well (without so much as an ack, which is why I don't often report bugs.
Hunter Joker Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Still happening as of Sept 30 as well (without so much as an ack, which is why I don't often report bugs. Not only the wings also the tail is affected. https://www.youtube.com/user/garaganotube
amazingme Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 And not only the 109.. aldox Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Yeah, I've seen this too it's like panels of the wings become see through after being shot when you're far enough, seems to be a thing of LOD
MJDixon Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 ${1} You can see some examples of missing wings in this video, mainly at around 2:45 as the 109 extends away, and again more clearly at 5:13 as I extend away from the 109.
ED Team NineLine Posted November 9, 2020 ED Team Posted November 9, 2020 I believe this is an issue with damage LODs which has been reported, thanks guys. Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

Nealius Posted May 29, 2021 Posted May 29, 2021 Still occurring. You can see in this screen grab, it appears the wing insignia locations become transparent at distance.
Rolds Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 A Little more than 10 months later and this is still with us.
