Logging it explicitly as the other thread doesnt seem to have made it in here, but Kneeboards placed into the terrain folder dont seem to be included when flying in Syria.

Pleeeeease get this resolved. Map-specific kneeboard pages are hugely valuable to a certain subset of the DCS audience. Thanks!

This still seems to be broken as of today's Open Beta update. Is this actually Ugra's issue to solve, or ED's?

I run into this problem too. Specifically, '.png' files that are placed into 'C:\...\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Syria\Kneeboard' do not show up ingame.

I don't even have a Kneeboard folder there.  I take it there are no kneeboard pages provided with the map, and this thread is referring to custom kneeboards?

I can place a custom kneeboard inside my own missions, but rather than place airfield diagrams on every Syrian mission, it would be much better if the Syrian map worked like the other terrains and allowed to have a "Kneebord" folder on it, so that every mission edited for this Map could access map-specific information, like the airfield diagrams.

Please Ugra .. implement this like ED did with Caucasus and Nevada, thanks.

Are there published airfield diagrams for Syria?

Not sure what you mean by published, but I use these on my missions:

I agree it would be nice to get fixed, but I 'll be honest I only ever use my kneeboards off a tablet out of game, which is far better overall. Going to have to find a new solution for VR though.

Just bumping this because it's still a massive frustration (at least for me)

A significant update to Syria including bug fixes is coming next update (2.7, currently slated for 31/03) so hopefully this may be part of the fixes.

Changed to April 7th.

Also, the Syria map expansion is said to not have been ready for 2.7 yet.

Source regarding Syrian expansion not being included in 2.7? Even the newsletter stated the next update will include a number of improvements to Syria.

Note: I am not talking about cyprus here, which I expect will take quite a while longer still. However, from the newsletter and Ugras wording it sounds like a lot of the updates already shown (eg H4 airfield, improvements to Israel/Golan heights, new turkish airfield, etc) will be included in the next update in addition to bug fixes on the Syria terrain. I have yet to see information to the contrary of this.

Ok, we are talking about two different things, as Syria will get an update with 2.7, but not Cyprus expansion.

I didn’t realise that you could have custom kneeboarding for terrains.  What would be the path within saved games for that to work?

7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat

I've put mine (as a mod package via JSGME) into DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\[map name]\Kneeboard. Works on every map except for Syria. But TBH I never tried Normandy even though I bought that first day.

It's a bummer this still hasn't been fixed - but I highly appreciate the absolute hard work that went into the map so far since release. I guess it's just a matter of time.
