We are supposed to get 2.7 update very soon but we don't know what are we going to get yet. At least some new weather tutorials in the editor would be good. Wags usually demonstrate upcoming module features. I hope he will consider this also

The 14th is the scheduled release for 2.7. We have seen several different videos highlighting some module features, ie: F18 HARM, radar and autopilot type stuff, but all everyone seems to comment on is the clouds.... Always.... The clouds. So I know 2.7 is going to have new clouds and some updates for some modules might coincide with 2.7 but otherwise it seems vague to me.

I honestly hope to god that along with all the bug fixes we also get some new and improved assets

There's definitely a new BTR-80 and a SA-6 (new 2P25 and 1S91 vehicles) teased (they can be seen in the Hind pre-order video) though not sure if they're going to come with 2.7 or a little later down the line.

nineline said on reddit that the 2.7 clouds will not have any customization, it will be only a selection from ED-made weather presets.

making custom weather conditions will come later.

Sorry if it has already been asked but, can't find if it has. What kind of performance impacts may we expect from 2.7? I know it's hard to say with all of the variables given. But, negligible...moderate....major? Just curious as to whether I should start stepping up my foot massage and woo game on the wife.  Working on a hardware upgrade.

This. Already on a fine line between performance and visuals on a GTX 2080 in VR. I hope the impact won't be like 10 FPS less, that would be catastrophic.

Pmsl. Performance hit on a gtx 2080. .........  im hoping my RX570 8gb is still playable. 😂🤣😂🤣🤞🏼

I'm still running RTX2070 alongside i7-9700k, but it seems like the majority of the load is on my processor when I'm running DCS. I haven't did the update yet, hopefully gonna wait until I see how it does for others.

Got a small performance hit (around 5fps) with my 2080. Still in the OK region, FPS wise...

That's a good deal. I didn't have the same luck, I went from 90fps down to around 28fps, using the same visual settings. 😞
